Good thing you've got cans

 

Jever Fun. A non alcoholic pilsner from Germany. Not bad at all for an alcohol free alternative. Rather bitter and not sweet at all like most non alcoholic beers from around her in NL. This one pair very good with many foods I believe.

But compared to (good) normal alcoholic German pilsners the only fun about this beer is that you can still drive a car after having some of these.

My father, who had fought lung cancer for years, chose to give up the fight this weekend. I am chosing to celebrate life rather than mourn death. Planning a trip that encompasses a Weird Al concert in Denver and seeing Yellowstone. It's surprisingly cheap. Only debate is which airports IN/OUT of Yellowstone area. Thinking might spend some time in the Seattle/Portland area as well. Now fly into Green Bay and rent a car back to Nothern Indiana after? I just drank a kombucha from Door County and it was really good. Anything better than air conditioning and Hamm's after a walk in this humidity?

Thanks @Nachos4two for this one. Pours a slightly cloudy dark orange with a tiny head that leaves wonderful rings of lace after each sip. 4.25

Smell is pineapple, tangerine, caramel, apricot, tea leaves, and just a hint of grapefruit rind. 4.5

Taste follows pineapple, tangerine dominate upfront with caramel, apricot, and just the slightest hint of grapefruit. 4.25

Mouthfeel is big and slightly sticky but not dry, gentle carbonation, and at 8.6% ABV goes down very easy. 4.5

Overall this is really tasty, not a NEDIPA but it does have a ton of tropical flavor with some maltiness to round it out. 4.25
