Pulled this one from under the stairs. @GreenBayBA had given it to me a while back and he reminded me and mentioned it was drinking good. He is correct. Thank you sir.

 

Good morning, BAs! I haven’t had much from Hoof Hearted due to their ultra-premium pricing here ($8 a can...tied with Singlecut for highest in this area), but I saw Galaxy on the can so had to try it.

It’s really good. Glad I took the chance.

 

The first half of the can poured slightly hazy (I could see my fingers on the opposite side of the glass) but when things settled and I poured the second half the tone shifted to a turbid light gold color. Large white cap and lacing.

Aroma is a melange of citrus/fruit, lemon, grapefruit, pineapple and something like peach.

Taste presents a firm hop bitterness at first but that quickly resolves into a complex whole that manages to be both brightly hoppy and balanced at the same time. By mid palate I'm getting more fruit than citrus and the beer finishes on a high dry note.

Overall this beer comes across as having full bodied flavor without a full bodied texture. Almost light yet bursting with flavors that are complementary each to the other.

 

Cuvee Blend (2019) | 3 Sheeps Brewing
Another big shout out to @scream for sharing this special beer. A very unique and delicious Cuvée blend. Sweet fig and molasses balanced beautifully with the drying of the Chardonnay with a touch of the funk from the Belgian styles, all playing nicely together on the wine and rye barrel.

 

Watching the Women’s World Cup Final at Props Brewing in Niceville, FL. Drinking a Blood Orange Blonde with an orange slice garnish. A great mimosa substitute for a beer lover!

Lots of maple, bacon and bourbon, with oak somewhere in the background. I'm glad I pulled this out for company while watching the US women.
