Awesome DIPA. Aromas and flavors of big red grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, blueberry, citrus peel/rind, wood, light peppercorn, and pine hops; with moderate honey, caramel, toasted biscuit malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-full body; balanced creamy/bready malts, sticky hops, and some resins/rinds in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing resin dryness; no cloying/astringency. Dangerously smooth, not overly aggressive, mild increasing warmth of 9.2%. Fantastic Chinook, Simcoe, Citra profile. Extremely juicy, vibrant, and fairly dank/earthy hop complexity; with a great balanced dark/bready malt backbone. Light residual sweetness with lingering resin dryness. Spot on Midwest DIPA as usual.

Just got home from work/the gym, now I'm ready to start my evening festivities.

Starting off from Lupulin Brewing is this S&M canned on 9/4/19.

Damn, is it sticky dank dankity dank!

Nice melon and papaya notes with hints of smoked pineapple balance it out though. Really nice stuff. 4.1/5.

Yea I can see that. I find the beers these kind of breweries put on a "Dry" shelf are generally not as good as their at home releases for some reason.

These Barrier collabs have underwhelmed, BA...nobody could accuse me of being a Finback fanboy, but I at least expected a little more punch from this one...a solid base, but too mild all around...nevertheless, I will never not toast the opportunity to throw back a beverage in good company, so Cheers, all!
