I’ve been doing a deal of cellar-diving to clean house a bit. 2015 Narwhal, packaged just over four years ago on 08/05/15. This held up exceptionally. Aroma delivers softly of semi-sweet chocolate, with delicate flavors of dark roast coffee beans, and impressions of powdered hot cocoa mix, caramel-filled chocolates, and freshly-baked brownies. Not sure if I recall this from years ago, but just as the finish is expected to close, there comes an encore rush of vanilla beans and the perception of maple. Interesting, proportionate, and zero trace of the 10.2% ABV. Very enjoyable and perfect for an awaited cooler evening here in Southern California. Cheers everybody!
