Drinking 3 Monts which is a pretty good example of the Bière de garde style; like it or hate it. Not for everyone I guess but for me that’s a winner. Cheers!
This is a delicious beer!
A rather brisk Fall morning and a little juice after a good work out. Cheers all and yes this stuff is as juicy as it looks.

Good day BAs! Raining this morning. Today's New Breakfast Beer:
Stopped by my favorite bottle shop in Freiburg and sampled this - unfiltered. Amazing stuff. Cheers!
Another beer opened at the bottle shop. Wheels of Fortune - an amazing double IPA from Germany. Cheers!
Free trade show beer!
Better than a sharp stick in the eye!
As long as my "local" has Underground Mountain Brown in stock, I'm going to keep picking up the occasional four pack (especially while I'm out of FBS).
Aslin's Triple Orange Starfish - a fantastic TIPA
Doing stuff around the house and trying this one for the first time.
Drinking SN Hazy Little
Taste is a hop burst that's bright, piney, citrusy and refreshing. The underlying malt base makes a substantial contribution that's not so much flavor as presence. This is a reasonably complex brew where the hop and malt flavors merge well together. Finish is clean and quick with a touch of malt sweetness in the aftertaste.
Time to calm my ass down, this hopefully will serve as an attitude adjuster, Southern Tier's Nitro Chocolate Milkshake. Cheers!
Drinking Newcastle Brown
Good morning BA
Drinking a semi-throwback beer here...
The Falls City name has been purchased back from Pabst by a craft brewery in Louisville. They make a variety of beer, but this caught my eye. When I was in college there was still a functioning brewery here in Evansville, IN producing a handful of beers brands that Heilman had sold or leased to Evansville Brewing Co. Falls City or "Feels Shitty" was the most infamous of these heavily adjuncted AALs. Guaranteed hangover stuff. This one wasn't too bad. Cheers all!
I'm having a Dogtoberfest Marzen from Flying Dog. It's, um, pretty meh. There's some sweet malts, honey & grain in the taste, but I swear to god it smells like an AAL. That's not what I paid for.
Lunch time while watching some Japanese wrestling.
Still working from home these days, boyo?
I'm going light on a drizzly afternoon.
Bell's Prairie Grass Dividing
Guinness with lunch
Purchased from a vending machine! I actually think this is good beer. Nice sweetness. Cheers!
Some hops with lunch before going in for my 1-9 shift.
Omni Brewing Oktoberfest Marzen
I've had this one in the fridge for a while...
That's October 12th 2015
Just added to my original review. Previous review was a one month old bottle in 2017. At four years, it's much less bitter with less citrus & pine. Still enjoyable. I see a nap looming. Cheers all!
Nap? Nay I say thee!
I can't find any Zombie Dust in these parts, so I had to go with their other Pale Ale.
Three Floyds Space Station Middle Finger
Short's - Black Cherry Porter.. cheers!
