    Was at the Cantillon brewery the last two days... Tried pretty much everything they had except for the 50N4E... Just a few smatterings of what we had today.. Delicious!!

    Per request of cappy201, my first from Newburyport Brewing Co, their flagship pale ale.

    Damn tasty stuff. A bit juicy/tropical, and some resinous hop flavor all nicely balanced with a sturdy malt backing.

    Yea, I'm hoping that maybe it's just a bad bottle. I've got 5 left to try.

    In the mean time, I've got a 6 pack of Odell IPA to enjoy. Cheers!

    I wish that I was. I'm always happy to add another great IPA to my regular rotation. We'll see how the other 5 bottles are.

    Not that I am saying that this has happened, because not everyone likea the same beer. But I did get a 6 pack that was off in April so I hope you did not have that happen. It is of course very unlikely with a brewery the size of Bells, but it happens. Mine had a odd burnt malt taste to it. Luckily that is the only one I have ever had that was off out of the probably over a hunderd 6 packs I have gone through.

    I was never aware they did any contract brewing, but their website says they have a large brewing facility. The Twisted Helles is above average, but still just another run of the mill summer lager.
