Time for some good times! Woo hoo taste the rainbow!
Let's start here shall we...
ps-I am really looking forward to that game!
Pre-gaming with a Glazer Bean from Karben 4.
Goose Island Bourbon County Brand Reserve Rye Stout, 14.5% ABV. Pours thick and black, with a 3+ finger brown head that left no lacing. Nose is chocolate and rye/bourbon, with slight sweet dark fruit. Taste is strong and slightly sweet chocolate, rye/bourbon, vanilla, and oak, with a slight bitterness. Mouthfeel is world class, overall world-class.

This was part of a surprise and very generous porch-bomb from @Justonemore91 and it's incredible, as were all of the other beers he sent.
Maaaa, come look at this, the crazy old guy across the street is grilling in the snow and drinking beer. Maaaaa! And look at that crazy looking cat...maaaaa!!!!!!
Yup - burgers for lunch and steaks for supper. It's a balmy 3 degrees out. Getting ready to watch football.
Grimm Super Spruce
Second pour of Cake
The second half of Reds v. Man U turned into a snoozefest. I switched over to watch the PBA on Fox Sports! Did I just see Mookie Betts doing multiple ads for the PBA?
Cross post from New Beer Sunday thread.
Saint Arnold's Bourbon Barrel Aged French Press. Review below:
And listening to my signed copy of Esperanza Spalding's 12 Little Spells. I adore here and this album.
Duck Rabbit - Wee Heavy Scotch Ale.. cheers!
Cool (72) overcast and breezy...productive morning continuing with unpacking in the garage from move/and on laundry duty...beer break on the back patio - Jai Alai:
Part of me misses morning drinking, but Moderation Management (“ModMan”) is my new normal...fewer days drinking, less beers per session/day...hope to resurface with a New beer later today, maybe during the Packer’s victory dance !
Enjoying some Black IPA, notes over at NBS
Just chilling copying my movies to my harddrive.
Starting Championship Sunday with a KC classic. Go Chiefs!
Last night's cap...
Today, from Total Wine...
Last thing I need is another glass, but I really wanted that Three Philosophers mix...
The base beer, Three Philosophers, is a Belgian quad with some Belgian kriek blended in - it happens to be a very classy take on the style, and it's worth a try if you've not had it... That said, I like it, and I really liked the Blueberry Coffee iteration I had Thursday...
So I was stoked to get another swipe at it, plus two I've never had: a bourbon barrel-aged and wine barrel-aged version - the beer is well-suited for either, so I'm really looking forward to them...
But damn if I don't still get excited seeing those boxes of Hopslam each year...
So that's what I'm drinking now lol... Big games today, but I'm not a true fan of any of the remaining teams - though I'd love to see Tennessee win out - probably the biggest underdog of the four, and I like Mike Vrabel (Steeler LB from 1997-2000 )... No result today is really gonna leave me upset, but just perhaps less enthused...
Meanwhile, I've moved onto another...
Music to my ears...
Will toast him later Vann. Give your wife a hug.
Getting ready for the AFC Championship game with a KC classic - Boulevard Pale Ale.
Founder's Franglic Mountain Brown. 9% ABV. Hazelnut and roasted coffee galore.
Found this at the back of the refrigerator , it shall not go to waste.
Pockets of Sunshine
at the least, there will be pockets of sunshine today in Santa Clara
Hey @GreenBayBA, we're both going to have a mostly a great day
but then it will suck royal, for one of us
sorry dude, all I can do is wish your team good health

Cheers To Ya
Heliotrope Church Camp Hookup DDH IPA... Wrapping up inaugural 2020 brewery tour
This is supposed to immitate swedish marmelade. A fine brew after all.
Raising this glass to Ernie
Matriculating to my 2nd beer.
I'm kicking back with a New Holland Dragon's milk. Damn, this is good stuff. There's a lot of milk chocolate & vanilla in the palate. Roasty with a boozy component from the bourbon barrels. When I looked up my review to compare, it ended with, "If only every beer could be like this, the world would be a better place." I'll stand by that. Now, once Wifey sees me drinking this, my 22 oz. bottle will become an 11 oz. bottle.
Cranberry Gose, Third Space.
And here is an absolute treat for me...Cantillon Classic Gueuze. One of my favorites, and I don't often get to use my Cantillon goblet for the correct beer
Spinning some of my massive 14 lp Edith Piaf box set, a French import that collects basically everything she put down on record. Excluding some live recordings. A gorgeous afternoon in Houston.
Good beer and good football today.
Lol, Cerveza Tecate, I looked at SN 40th it was 5 weeks old which was fine, but the thought of drinking a hoppy beer kinda flipped my stomach a bit. There wasn’t another Pils that was interesting, so an ice cold Tecate after helping cleaning house and breaking a sweat. I’m just in a weird place where I really don’t want anything even remotely hoppy. I’m in a cycle where AALs extra cold just slide down bit, don’t know why, just the way it is right now. This too shall pass.
Today is Gose Day and while this is just a tad too sweet and one-dimensional for my personal taste, it's still enjoyable enough. Looking forward to the rest, which should be a bit more interesting.
Not beer, but a good start nonetheless:
Had to use my new favorite coffee mug. I'll be back later on with some more.
Cheers, BAs! Enjoy the football Sunday!
Sticking with Boulevard with their new Phantom Haze. Great NE style Double IPA. And sticking with the Red Kingdom! Go Chiefs!
Cheers to you Ernie, give Mr's Ocalafox a hug for me.
Evil twin no hero
Landshark. I found it in the back of my refrigerator, likely left over from last summers Jimmy Buffett concert, drain pour? No.
Another Jai Alai in the backyard:
