Straight To Ale Laika Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Stout.



Tastes like Ten FIDY with a touch of barrel.

I had this from a 22 oz bomber back in the day and it was nearly perfect. I got some awesome melted chocolate chip cookies and fudge. This batch is just mad as a hornet with roasted charred malt, tobacco, and intense heat. I think the sweetness is eluding me because I just had some BBQ pulled pork. It smells really sweet and amazing though. Fantastic stuff. Cheers

I'm drink'in a 750ml jar of Northbound Smokehouse, Snow Series #2: Snowmageddon. A Imperial Honey Brown Ale 9.7% ABV. It's good but It tasted better out of the tap when i was there Saturday for Eisbock Poking.

They fly under the radar, IMO. Most of their stuff is good-great and they have some hidden gems. Their distilled stuff is on point as well. They’re right on the ocean too, so not a bad place to stop.

 

@guinness77, I agree with you on getting Monday over with. Especially since working yesterday on my normal day off made me think today was Tuesday. Reason enough for another.
