FL Total Wine Beer #2:
Not my picture, but, I'm sure enjoying this local:
After a 2 week dry spell, battling some kind of intestinal virus, I decided to enjoy a couple SN Torpedoes at the annual family summer picnic! Damn were they tasty! Hope everyone else had a great day!
(Had to re-use and crop an old picture.)
Love me some Monster Magnet!
How is this one after a few months? Had one fresh and have one more in the cellar. Great picture, by the way!
Very tasty. I think I prefer regular IPAs, but it's nice to switch it up every now and again.
Finishing up this guy
FFF Arctic Panzer Wolf now. Cheers!
Thanks! I think it tastes great. Good sweet/hop balance.
Making progress - Shawn Hill knocked it out of the ballpark with Abner, just a glass growler full of intense resiny citrus/piney goodness.
Finally cracked after two weeks in the growler and still drinking perfect with no carbonation loss. Yeah...100 BA score (big deal) but this is one of those that absolutely lives up to the score. Happy Sunday and prost!
The Bruery Bois 5th Anniversary. Very good brew, I really hope people get a chance at this one. Very complicated flavor.
and this one with a neighbor...
Staying calm today after the misadventures of the last two! Cheers!
Bruery Humulus at Rumpus Room in Milwaukee. Wow! I love these hopped up lagers, and this is maybe the best I've had yet.
Started off with some Odell's Press Pale Ale.....an APA with roasted coffee beans coming in at ~4.4% ABV.
Next had some Equinox D-Rock Kolsch.
Now back homing and closing things out with my newfound love, Marble's Oatmeal Stout.
Dig the avatar - kinda different, yet cool
Idaho is proving to be quite the little gold mine. Onto this treat:
augustiner maximator.. its a buy if you see it..
So this weekend I've been drinking a decent amount so I was thinking of not having a beer tonight. Then I thought well, I'm gonna be watching my shows and I'd like something to sip on. So I went to find something light on the ABV side. Remembered I had this. Wow...what flavor for 3.1%. Nice and crisp, tart and so refreshing.
Nice! Enjoy that vacation, George!
Hottenroth is crazy good. I'm going to pick up another bottle or so. This is the summer of the Berliner Weisse for me!
pretty rough couple weeks. going to solo a speedway stout in response.
My first Sculpin IPA. Drink by date of 11/04/2013, so figuring a 6 month period leaves me at about 5ish weeks post bottling. It feels almost more like a DIPA with how rich it is, but I am getting a bit of cat piss in it. I don't know if maybe its a bit "too old" to be mind-altering, but I wouldn't say it completely blows away Union Jack, Stone IPA, or Racer 5 ( to compare it to some other west coast AIPAs).
Started my day with a little berliner
Then opened my last GI Fleur.
Now onto Cascade Blueberry
Got it a few days ago, yeah. dude its amazing, thank you so much
To anyone who wants a custom bottle opener go to J.R., he is the BEST!
