Prairie Christmas stout. Really nice, not overly complex but it's done se well it doesn't need to be
This one is still drinking GREAT!
Dino time and it is just wonderful. PJs on and going to relax the rest of my day off. 2 long days ahead of me and off again Friday.
That man is a legend. Cheers.
Yuengling Golden Pilsner.
Since there were only a couple left among the new batch of Michelob Dark.
This beer is tasting better than I recall. I am thankful. Cheers!
Well it is a Breakfast Stout. So technically, breakfast!

Clear, copper hued body; thin yet lasting head; decent sheets of foam step down the glass. Beautiful aroma of toasted grain; a bit of caramel; slighty nut-like. The taste follows the aroma along with additional hop bitterness. Medium body; smooth with just an edge of coarseness; malt warmth with a touch of alcohol dryness.
A warm, balanced and mighty tasty offering, perfect for a late winter afternoon.
And picking up a crowler of their triple IPA...
Classic art on the label, very nostalgic.
I am envious that you get to drink this nectar!
I've done this a couple of times. What fun. In fact, my BA icon is an image of the first time I did this with Younger on the left and Elder on the right.
I enjoyed the last one so much that I'm going to have another. I'm thankful that I was given 2 cans of this fine beer today. Peace...
Masthead Brewing - Falling Fruit (5.8% Fruit and Field Beer) - My overall rating = 4.17
Having this near Pittsburgh, PA from a 16oz canned on 2019-07-11
A - Peach-gold with a 1-finger white head that drops quickly leaving little lace
S - Sweet ripe peach. Bread crust. Honey. Floral. Very nice
T - Peach, slightly-tart apple juice, honey, light bread. Grassy/herbal spice. Mildly bitter. These flavors suit me well.
M - Medium body and light-medium carbonation. Smooth. Not dry on the finish.
O - I really enjoyed this beer even though you could almost have it at breakfast in lieu of fruit juice. It still tastes like beer, not cider and it isn't like a juicy NEIPA. Well done. Will have this again.
Masthead is kinda like Goathead, which reminds me of Billy Strings for you Goat fans! Check out his Dust In A Baggie song:
Clam Chowder and Jai Lai straight from the can. Clean citrus and toffee bomb! Cheers!
Three Notch'd Blonde Biggie Smores stout (the whitish version of OG Biggie Smores).
Oskar Blues - Death by Coconut, bit of a rarity around here but yay!
Going dark on a dark rainy day
cheers peeps - happy Tuesday
I think I read somewhere that Cigar City doesn't recommend Jai Alai on the stove.
I always heat the can up in the microwave before I imbibe
The sparks are COOL!
Satisfying schwarzbier from Jack’s Abby here. Cheers!
Well done, sir!
What do you think of that? I picked up a single today and have it chilling.
At the VB early today. My last of these. Cheers folks!
Same here. A nice treat from The Bruery at a decent price.
Starting with Alien Church, cheers!
Another tasty one from these brewers and only 8 days old.
Cost + 10 is a luscious AIIPA from Other Half. I assume $10 is the mark up, although I have never paid it myself, simply acquired and traded. Not sure what the burro is all about, but hope it wasn't this:
I forgot that I was drinking this one. I'm in the middle of a fantasy baseball draft. My bad. Cheers...
Fremont makes a pale ale called Sky Kraken, haven't seen any oversized sealife fighting dirigibles in mid-air here. Yay for crazy can art is all I can say.
Drinking a Shiner while I make some dinner. A friend of mine who is a Texan transplant left it here. Goes down easy enough. Cheers!
Sick of local beer. Somebody send me something new (joke is that's happening right now)
One and done again today, got to work at 5am.
I'm not really feeling this thread like I used to, yet I can't stay away. I guess I'm just a creature of habit after all.
This is a really nice old school Pale Ale at a great price point that actually kinda reminds me of SNPA.
Drinking a Surly Magic Formula for Peace.
Only real knock I have with this one is the light bodied feel. The Bruery nailed the cherry pie thing.
Good for you !
