Hopaveli the Don, aka Tupac in a glass. Listen, people. He's in a better place. He's not hiding in some remote part of the world, waiting to drop dope rhymes after the zombie apocalypse takes place. Just enjoy the time he was here, and be thankful. Peace...

#2, this is almost 6 months past its “Best By” date and it is still drinking phenomenally. The coffee mixes perfectly with the toffee and oak notes from the base beer. World class, IMHO.

I'm rarely disappointed by SingleCut. Is it mind-blowing? No. Is it representative? Yes. My glass is empty, and I'm not mad about it.

I just had an idea. We should do something special for leap year with the 29th being on Saturday this weekend. Anybody?

My local haunt is getting their first can drop of Head Hunter next week. I might shed a tear. This is one beer where I will genuinely miss the bottles.

This is definitely the best mint chocolate beer I have ever had. Expensive, but one whiff and I was already impressed.

99.8% of the beers I drink are in cans. I guess I'll miss the Head Hunter bottles because that's how it was introduced to me. Cheers.

Perhaps a bit too sweet and malty for my personal taste, but a pretty decent Pale Ale at the end of the day.

I do in this crib. There's Occidental out of Portland, Or. That focus strictly do Central/Eastern European offerings that still had a big marketshare before the IPA explosion, when Weihenstephan was still a wow.

I'm gonna get tanked tonight to celebrate the end of an era. Quo vadis, Beer Advocate?

This is quite a nice modern interpretation of an old school IPA that has those bitter, resinous hops and a caramel malt backbone to it, but also brings some rather diverse fruity citrus and tropical hops to the table.

I think I have reviewed over 150 Veil brews. I do noit recall, and I am too lazy to research, if any were red ales. The smell led me to believe I would not like it. The taste, however is much better than expected. The beer can compete with other Virginia red ales I have had.

Hey, @jvgoor3786 the can design is telling. A barbell loaded and a guy sitting. Could be me thinking I cannot do this anymore. Those days are gone. How are you and family doing by the way?

The short answer is "no", as far as I can tell from my limited perspective. Although this is a complex subject, craft beer in general is having quite a difficult stand in Germany, as I have remarked on these forums many times before.
