Cheers, advocates. First beer from Tonewood. They’re closer to Philly and we’ve been getting cans here for a bit but I haven’t pulled the trigger until now. It’s good. It’s good.

 

My first outdoor beer of '20. I'm calling it, Winter is over (if it ever really started here). I'm uncovering the fire pit this weekend.

DC Brau The Legislator. A Doppelbock aged in bourbon barrels. This guy is all chocolate and toffee with a hint of oak and a bite of bourbon and alcohol on both the nose and the palate.
@TheIPAHunter How you liking Inquisition so far? I got burnt out on it but my girlfriend at the time did all the sidequests and DLC.

Trying another NA beer this evening - Clausthaler Original:



Bottled Dec. 4, 2019; gold pour; excellent clarity; three fingers of fluffy white foam; long cap retention; medium plus lacing. Fresh baked bread with some floral hops nose. Baked bread, semi sweet, lite floral hops; very mild bitterness; malty caramel finish. Light body, not watery; moderate carbonation. Overall, quite tasty; crisp, clean and refreshing; not sweet; light malty linger; will definitely drink more.

Needed to pick me up after a tiring day so this coffee brown ale is just right.
