I agree, the shipping turned me off. It was my wife who convinced me stating that I would not be able to get beer, mind this was 10 days ago when nobody was shipping or delivering. I am glad I pulled the trigger! I always enjoyed their beers, and while I was unable to get any of their stouts, the DIPA was great and the two IPAs were very very good. I since ordered a delivery from a local brewery, and while they are very highly rated, their beers overall were inferior...

ps-this week my favorite local brewery is offering free delivery! :grinning::grinning::grinning:

We are lucky here. Almost every local brewery I like is delivering. Most for free, a few with a small charge. Makes my new hermit life easier to sustain. I’m tipping generously of course :relieved:

Having this on e for the first time and it definitely won’t be the last. Big juicy glass of goodness. I’m probably going to NBS it.
I rehabbed my old rusty bakers scale yesterday while listening to some vinyl, thanks again to @tasterschoice62, it was a lot of fun reading BA’s thoughts on different musical artists. There was such a wide variety and this old fart learned a lot.

Was saving my last ever Barrage can for a good morning and Easter morning certainly qualifies. The maple syrup is really strong in this one. Teeters on overpowering. Little bitterness from the coffee, good thing I like maple syrup. Good beer. RIP Barrage and Happy Easter to those of you who celebrate that kind of thing.

The response here has been very slow, but it seems like breweries, and restaurants, are starting to smart up!

End of the (open) road on VT RT. 108, Stowe, VT.
    Easter Sunday, 2020.

There were 40 cars (7 out of state plates) with two cross country skiers heading up into Smuggler's Notch. Also a few snowboarders hiking and skiers skinning up to the top of the mountain from here. This road can't be plowed as it's too narrow at its apex to do so.
Today was the first Easter Sunday Sunrise Service ever cancelled dating back over 70 years ago.
That white peak in the middle of the frame is the top of Mt. Mansfield, the tallest mountain in Vermont.

Now for a new beer brewed right here in Stowe, VT.

    16 oz. can.
    Canned 04/07/20.
Moderate to vigorous pour yields a 1 and a 1/2 inch white head over a hazy golden body with sticky lacing. Wonderful nose of sweet citrus and tropical fruit. Taste follows smooth and fairly well balanced right through the 65 ibu finish that where traces of sweet citrus are present. Very nice! 8.0% abv is hidden well with a very good feel. Overall, I'd recommend this to any and all hopheads looking for a well made DIPA.
Cheers to UPBC and von Trapp for a job well done!!

    C&P from NBS.

My family in Massachusetts sends me Stretch's pickles from Westminster which are awesome, but are consumed too rapidly.
Westbrook, keep up the good work sending us fresh Claw family pale ales.

I checked YouTube for more sad John Prine tributes, and hit a jackpot.
