I've only recently been that long in one place after my mom and baby sister died.
Now I'm wondering if it was such a good idea to move my entire family to North Carolina
Mom, Dad, Sister, 2 Brothers. It was me that convinced them. Why did they listen to a drunk guy?
    And You oh Hunter.

Really I am nowhere near an IPA junkie.

In fact Bells is the only hoppy beer I can stand.

And it ain't real hoppy anyway.

Picked up this Icelandic brew - so had to look for a "horns up" glass to go with....I am afraid my collection is a little weak in the Iceland glass dept.
This stuff is the real deal.....love it

    Horns up!! ^^^^^^^

I need to get myself to Iceland

I was hoping to play this last Saturday for 'Ditties and Beers', but, well, so many LPs and beers, so little time...thanks to @Monkeyknife for some earlier Dolls...their best album (in my opinion)...

Started off with an Old Style tallboy. At $3.50 a 6-er, a good way to keep cost down.

Labatt Blue Citra. For the price point, 9.99 a 15- pack, its great!! This one is certainly underappreciated.

Happy Friday Advocates. Drinking Too Pure to be Pink from Wild Leap. Just got a big box from Tavour so I'll be drinking a lot of new to me stuff over the next couple weeks. Only other thing I've had from Wild Leap was an Alpha Abstraction, maybe #2 or 3, and I loved it. This one is nice but just a little hint of bitterness would make it excellent IMHO. Cheers!

A little palate cleanse after Friday night pizza. Awesome pilsner.

I got this song stuck in my head. Reminds me of being 13 years old.

My first Equilibrium beer. Was beyond excited to try these guys since I've heard so many great things. Equilibrium Fractal Citra/Mosaic IPA. Not a big juice bomb like I expected, but more bright, zippy, and clean. Has a nice dryness and firm bitterness on the backend. Tangerine, orange zest, navel orange, honeydew melon, fresh passion fruit, blueberry skin, earthiness, fresh squeezed lemon, bright floral, underripe pineapple, slight dank, pine. Outstanding as expected.

Equilibrium Fractional Citra/Mosaic. These guys hit distro around here this week. Solid stuff, but pricey at $6+ a can.

Wow, the last time I was out the basement today it was sunny and springlike. Now it's rainy and downright cold! I'll have to revise my evening beer consumption accordingly. In the meantime, Shaved Truffles from Magnify.

One of the better TH stouts. Not barrel-aged, but the adjuncts are prominent and well-balanced. The use of coconut is perfect. And amazingly this one wasn’t $30/4!
