Much like your wife, mine is playing the Nanny State and limiting my access.
my emotional snow scene @GreenBayBA, I bet we have more snow on the ground then the frozen tundra today
I have a bit of story, we went out on a wine run today and when we got back we were filling the wine rack. Mrs G says “we should get rid of some of the old bottles because it probably like fermented or something” The scary part is she’s the brains of the outfit. Cheers
Cleaning out the freezer. Have an unlikely combination of foods to grill. And the delicious WCIPA from firestone walker. Cheers!
Brewing Projekt Things Of Nature: Literally DNEIPA, 9.2% ABV. Pours hazy pale yellow, with a one-finger white head that left decent lacing. Nose is light citrus. Taste is light grapefruit, orange, pine (ponderosa), slight sweetness, slight bitterness. Excellent mouthfeel, overall outstanding. Quite a kick.

From Untapp'd, "Mayflower Oatmeal Stout is rich and smooth. Brewed with three types of oats and several varieties of dark barley malts, it adds a little sweetness to the roasted flavor of traditional stouts"
canned 11.20.19, opened 4.18.2020
can poured into a pint glass
Two finger foamy taupe cap over black motor oil, good retention, some lacings
Aroma is roast malts, coffee, chocolate
Taste is tinny, roast malts , hint of coffee
The oats smooth out the bitterness, the roast malt taste lingers, thin mouthfeel , some sudsing
Just a couple good local brews for me today, deciding on what to drink next:
I've been working on this puzzle since last weekend and I won't be sad when I get it finished, starting to be a pain in the ass.

Ive watched quite a few of his videos to to you and have been impressed with the fact he plays all his own instruments. Thats rare producing and playing.
Incredible as always. Aromas and flavors of big tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, mango, honeydew melon, berries, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, and pine hops; with moderate honey, white bread dough, toasted biscuit, light caramel malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation, medium-plus body, and fairly crisp finishing. Balanced creamy/bready/grainy malts, sticky hops, and some resins/rinds in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing resin dryness; no hop astringency. Very smooth, nicely soft, not overly aggressive, minimal warming 6%. Amazing Simcoe/Amarillo profile. Super juicy, vibrant, and fairly dank/earthy hops; with an awesome clean bready malt backbone. Mild residual sweetness with crisp resin dryness. A top tier classic.
PBR after playing a crappy round of disc golf.
If you need someone to take those old bottles off your hands I volunteer.

Zero shame drinking this from a shaker pint.
