loved me some Bill Hicks! Some of us Priest fans got our shit together!
I have 2 dick dogs, so I sympathize, wouldn't trade them for anything
Hope you stay healthy and hope your co-work comes back negative. With everything going on it kind of messed up they would test you well since you are sharing space with someone being tested.
Sierra Nevada: Hazy Little Thing
Thanks again @Vidblain!
2011 Sierra Nevada Bigfoot
Mash & French Toast. Pretty awesome stuff. Cheers!
Hey! Look what I found hidden in the back of the fridge! Actually, it was on the door. Right where it always is. Cheers!
Abnormal Boss Pour IPA. It’s good but not terribly abnormal. Crisp, fairly light, citrusy, bitter, and pretty dry it has all the hallmarks of a good WCIPA, cheers!
Wife wanted a Belgian wit, which I didn't have on tap. So, I ordered some beers. Might as well get some for me as well.
3 Sheep's The Wolf to close out the evenin' - Cheers BA's !
I think he assumed I got tested as well. I am not scared, but a little perplexed
Very tasty brew, glad to see it around.
NugMo Toppling Goliath Brewing Company
My only nod to this silly day...
Sweetwater 420 Stain Mango Kush Wheat Ale
Getting it going with this lite milk stout,
When it's good, it's good. Cheers, all!
Somehow, I never seen him before until this Saturday, after watching a George Carlin interview (who I have loved since the '70s SNL appearances) with George mentioning Bill as one who died too young.
Bill Hicks says the things I have been saying since the 1980s. I have been devouring clips, entire sets and documentaries the past 48 hours. Very appreciative of also being introduced to Willie Dunn and John Prine in previous WBAYDN threads this past month. I'm 50, not sure how all three of these guys have slipped my attention all these years.
New Beer Sunday is the best beer focused thread on BA, WBAYDN the best life focused thread on BA.
PS - Was a big Judas Priest fan back in the day (and Motorhead, Maiden, Metallica, Malmsteen - that's a lot of M's). I don't listen to metal much these days, but appreciate songs of youth.
Sadly, I am too old, and it's too loud.
Thought it was going to be a hot Monday. I always get fired up on the off days. Cheers see you on the flipside.
A couple Founders Pils, now a lil bit of thjs...
Also some Fire OG, Platinum Kush and Chemdawg.
Evening closer for this beer nube with some music on the surround sound. @SawDog505
This is hitting the spot right now, Cheers BA!!
Unfortunately it’s not distro’d here, I was lucky to snag a couple cans from Tavour
Just kind of hanging out, BA’s:
After a few Founders Centennial IPAs, I'm breaking out a Founders KBS...didn't necessarily want to do it tonight, but it feels right. I plan on holding on to my only can Lawson's Sip of Sunshine for a few more days...hopefully. Hope you're all having a great night...thanks for the beer conversation...means a great deal to a lot of us!
Moving along now, feeling great tonight, Cheers BA!
Love me some Dickey Betts !!!!!!!
Had a Waldos Ale earlier after I remembered it was 4/20. So there's that.
Also jus realized it wasn't Tuesday.
This thing actually tastes like an oatmeal raisin cookie dipped in whiskey.
While watching Hudson Hawk.
Pseudo Sue. I think I'm going to watch something on Netflix instead of reading tonight.
Coop: Alpha Hive
Digging into the cellar a bit, cheers BA!
This is my JAM!
When I bought this beer, all I saw was that it was a Hazy by Stone - I didn’t read anything else. It’s a weird one for sure. I’d call it a Berliner Weiss IPA. Not my favorite, but not bad:
Watching the ESPN Chicago Bulls documentary.
Last can of Wowza from Deschutes. Good thing too as it was on its way out!
Weston Rock Bridge Option #2 with Vanilla.
I wouldn’t mind being a degenerate. Jk, I’m ok here. Sending good vibes from SoCal.
I loved Sixpoint when I first traded for it back in the day. We get it here now, albeit with a few months of age so I usually don’t buy it (outside of new singles).
Bill Hicks was THE SHIT.
Definitely a unique voice that left us way too soon.
