    look: 3.5 | smell: 3.75 | taste: 4.25 | feel: 4.25 | overall: 4

    Very dark brown, nearly black body; lasting head yet thin and semi-creamy. Rich, roasted grain scent infused with notes of dark roast coffee. Sweet malt presence with a fine coconut touch; some roasted malt and coffee offsetting the sweetness; a bit of booziness lurking about; elements of phenols and hop bitterness towards the finish. Thick, oily body; silky smooth; some alcohol heat in the background.

    The looks are a bit above average and the smell somewhat subdued, but the beer shines with taste and mouthfeel.

    It's the reason I bought the album. Heard on a once great local college radio station about 20 years ago and have had a CD copy of the song (I don't think it's the album, but a collection of jazz tunes).

    Again, much to my wife's dismay (where are we going to put all your albums), I had to pull the trigger on getting this Czech-made remaster of the album...
