    Worked last night, but thankfully, it was quiet. Cold day in NY metro, perfect for one of the last fires of the season. This is my lunch: it was a very good lunch.



    One of the greatest bands of all time. Always make me smile. Cibé áit a bhfuil tú, fan slán agus sláintiúil. Sláinte, mo AB Chairde!

    Tasting fantastic. The anise has calmed down a bit. Chalky charred malts. Flavors of dark fruits. Chocolatey and creamy on the finish.

    Stone Buenaveza. Reminds me enough of cerveza con sal y limon.

    Pretty slammable now that the sun is out and it's getting warm. It's 60-ish degrees and low humidity and the sun's out. I was walking 2 miles earlier and I was just starting to feel too warm. Give me back my low 50's, low humidity and sun. Too hot for this cold dweller already.

    Soft carbonation on the mouth feel, citrus notes on the aroma and palate. Light bitterness. Crusher.

    Played some Call Of Duty Warzone. Got a Jersey Mike's plain grilled Pastrami Reuben and it was AMAZING! Will definitely go there again, I forgot to ask for other vegetables, but it didn't matter. I used to think I didn't like sauerkraut when I was a kid, I was dead wrong. I love pickles anyways, and that is just cabbage taking the place of cucumbers. Safe to say I love all fermented foods.

    Also got a eye of round roast at Meijers yesterday. I am putting it in an impulse marinade that had no thoughtful approach. I took teriyaki, Mrs Dash powder, hot sauce, and bbq sauce. I will give that an hour or two quickly. I liked the taste. Then toaster oven time.

    Incredible IPA as always, one of my main classic favorites. Lasting thick head retention/lacing the whole glass. Aromas and flavors of big red grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pineapple, apricot, mango, melon, citrus peel/zest, light peppercorn, and pine hops; with moderate toasted bread, light honey/caramel malt balance; and floral/grassy hop earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, floral, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation/body. Balanced creamy/bready malts and sticky hops in the mouthfeel. Light lingering resins/rinds. Fairly crisp/drying, and extremely drinkable; never astringent. Never gets old, always fantastic. I will always love classic C hopped beers, even with all of the new hop varieties around. Awesome vibrant/juicy, and fairly dank/earthy Centennial hops; great balancing bready Munich malt backbone, with minimal residual sweetness from lingering crisp resin dryness. Been keeping it around more often recently.

    Enjoying another Dark Star, because...well, why not? Along with some lasagna soup leftovers from last night. Delicious. Roasty nibs go well with the tomato soup base and richness of that cheese topping.

    Oh, and may this kitten's b-hole be the only asshole you have to deal with today.
