Some Takis and some beer. If this is wrong, I don’t want to be right.

Clear, golden hued body; lively carbonation; thick and sculpted white head. Muted dank and weedy aroma; a bit of pine. Mellow biscuit malt base with a tasty hop bitterness snap; some berry-like esters. Heavy body; fairly smooth with just a hint of coarseness; mildly sticky; rather dry overall.

This beer delivers a rather nice and balanced imperial IPA experience. In this instance, I'd say the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. Well-rounded, balanced and nuanced, this beer delivers the goods...

...and listening to Disc 2 of one of my Zappa guitar-centric variety discs (Guitar Wazoo)...

The newest Idle Hands "Kill Your Idles" beer is a "Tiki" variety with a bunch of fruit juices and almonds added... fun stuff, and very tasty!

Some of my happiest memories are of driving to Alpine from L.A., washing down a pulled pork sandwich with a couple pints of Nelson at the pub, grabbing the max number of bottles from next door, and hitting Societe on my way back home. Always met awesome people and drank awesome beer.

I have to head to Home Depot early Friday morning and pick up some grass seed. Had the septic system pumped today so I need to reseed that area and seed around the shed and trees where the grass is pretty bare. I was going to do it this afternoon but decided that since I have Friday off it would make more sense to go early when there's fewer people in the store.
