Hamburg is an upstate NY brewery that has increasingly floated onto my radar. This is one of the best beers I've had from them so far. Leans more toward honeydew melon and lemon than sweet orange and mango/peach like Citra can; but super crisp and crushable with a soft mouthfeel. Imagine Guayabera but with oats and wheat. Really nice; just drank two cans in a row of this.

Does that have hot pepper rings? Because it looks like it and I love those on pizza.

Stone Espresso Totalitarian. Second to last can. Coffee notes have mostly faded, but the base beer is phenomenal, so it’s no big deal. It’s unfortunate they’re not releasing this in 2020.

You are fucking right I can.

For anyone who thinks I overcooked it we will have to agree to disagree.

You may have guessed there is a specific reason I didn't show a cross cut... it isn't bleeding I will say that much. I don't need all of BA attacking me tonight because I overcook my steak. There is some pink no red.

Feeling it. Im a late night guy. You will probably never see me in the am breakfast beer post....although for Ditties and Beer Vinyl day I did crack one at 6am. And I have had a few rare early beers. Let me just say I have stayed away from Tilted Barn due to lines and FOMO but with the recent changes and being able to order on line ( I live like 20 mins from there) I have picked up a few over the last few weeks. This Cactus is amazing. Its Treehouse easily level although I hate to make comparison's. This is a very small brewery thats about to make it very big. Trust me.

All I recommend is you take that rib roast *at least* 45 days. 45 days in when the funk starts to begin to develop. If you actually want the funk to kick you ass it is 60-90 days imo.

Hit me up if you have any questions I love nerding out about dead cows. The cut above is choice; primes ages slightly better imo but not worth 70% more imo

Not going to start a fire ( see what I did there). I have been in hospitality for 40 years and more than half in a kitchen. You can cook that anyway you want but if youre spending all that money youre wasting it if you cook that on a propane grill in your attic to well done. And theres alot of "waygu" out there that is domestically raised which is a great product not raised like they due in Japan. Choice beef is fine for what you are doing. If that is true about the beef I would slice that thick, sling it on a hot rock and eat it 2 minutes later.

Revisiting a classic. If you haven’t had this lately it’s definitely worth a revisit. The classic west coast IPA with the piney hop flavor. East coast rapper and West Coast IPA.

    You bought this in US?
Thats grass fed Australian beef probably finished with corn.
I didnt look anything up so I dont want to comment too much. I wasnt aware of a strong Waygu program in Australia. I will be honest its always been gamey to me(Aussie beef) and not in a good way. I know the majority of beef imported to the US is grassfed. But think about how long its takes product to get from that side of the globe to here. Its either fresh ( yup) or frozen. I could talk about this all night but I wont

Finishing up the night with another beer from the box that @ATLien sent me. This is my first beer from Creature Comforts and the perfect way to wind down the night. Everything Is... is a dry hopped pilsner that is part of a rotating single hop series. This one is done with galaxy. Galaxy is one of my favorite hops, and while this is hoppier than a traditional pilsner, I don't get much galaxy explicitly. That said, it's a damn fine pilsner and I should probably keep more beers like this in my fridge on a regular basis.[IMG]
