That begs the question, though, of whether you’re bald.

Not to start a political discussion I don’t want to. I understand this is a beer forum. A lot of young people my age don’t say or do anything about problems such as racism. My attitude toward it is I will speak out and I do ask others why they don’t.

long story short my hope is more people of all ages speak up. It’s the only way. Cheers to you

Coal-black body; dense and creamy khaki head; light rings of lacing steep down the glass. Huge milk chocolate and vanilla nose; a rather murky spicy note as well. Rich chocolate and cocoa flavors with a slightly mint-like undertone; mild peppery spice flavor; some low-key chili pepper sneaks through as the beer warms. Heavy body; silky and creamy; dense residual sugars; very sweet with only the slightest hint of alcohol and pepper heat.

This is an impressive high ABV imperial stout. Supposedly barrel-aged, there is minimal suggestion of that or even the very high ABV - a neat trick for such a deceptively boozy beer. And I'm always impressed with any high ABV beer that maintains any semblance of a head, let alone a rich and creamy one. This is a collaborative effort with Drekker brewing company. This beer makes for one fine tasting experience.

Hey man, I think we've done this before, but with beer who knows? It's the great memory equalizer. Harrisonburg, VA. Class of 88 from HHS. Go blue streaks! Both my parents taught at JMU.

Finishing this 6er up, one day before it’s supposed to be off the shelf. Absolutely love it - the rye adds a spiciness that is outstanding, IMHO.

I was hoping the fancy glass would make this stuff taste better. Nope, you can't put lipstick on a pig.

Good on you, Urk! The only reason we have these issues today is because older generations (I'm waving here) didn't address this enough. I will say that my (college) students continue to inspire me, continue to generate some hope for all of us, and they are one of the reasons I marched in the last few days. It's all distant or abstract until someone you know is directly affected.
So kudos! At 27, you're living through historic times! Write it down, remember, make recordings... whatever it takes.

Tilted Barn Fermented #28 - a Raspberry Gose. I've been pleased with a handful of their hoppy beers but everything else has been lackluster for me.

And not to make it about me. I’m only one person I ask people why not march. Why not speak up. My grandfather and mother are Iroquois American Indian and he taught me to speak out on bullies so that is what I’m doing. I don’t mean to start a political discussion I’ve been drinking. Needed a break today after the last three days. I feel guilty not going today.

This year is strange, should be helping with graduation like I do every year. Raising my glass to the class of 2020, time to watch this virtual graduation, cheers!
