    Jamestown. A New England IPA from Thornbridge.
    Still in the hotel in the forest. Bar is openen, but I'm still avoiding those kind of places. This Jamestown is a good alternative for draft lager anyway.

    Thanks - it's curious to watch the mosaic of public health anarchy unfold - here in Colorado Springs, it's much the same. Not many masks, even indoors where it matters most, and I fear for the consequences when our normal winter flu season kicks in here this year. My own college is wondering what to do, in fits and starts, about in-person vs online, and how to adapt. Went to a few breweries yesterday to just do curbside pickup and saw people already yucking it up without masks, outside. It's going to be hell for businesses who care to enforce anything. Thanks for the response @DoctorZombies - we live in interesting times. Cheers!

    Amager Bryghus Kilo, the King og Cuddles, 5.8% ABV NEIPA.
    A pretty straight forward NEIPA. Nothing exciting but does what it says in the tin.

    Aventinus - Weizen-Doppelbock

    A bit estery, with that big pink bubblegum and allspice note, as well as a pretty hefty booziness for 8.2% ABV, but it's certainly a classic, authentic example of the style. The soft, round, fluffy body is quite nice. Would love to try the Eisbock! Might just have to pick that up. Also should have gone with a lower ABV offering at 2:30 in the afternoon... Oh well. Live and learn... Or in my case, live and never seem to learn!

    I really wonder how this was received in 1960. Her voice is so unique and raw, and it has a pretty heavy vibe to it. That's rock and roll! Love Wanda Jackson!

    First drinking excursion since Saturday, March 14, also in the suburbs. Not sure I’ve gone that long since some point early in high school. Mikerphone BA Imperial Smells Like Bean Spirit is the pour.

    Like the regular version better, though glad I tried this one. Some alcohol burn, blends ok but not as smooth as some of the better BA pours brewed elsewhere.

    The regular version is one of the best maple coffee stouts period, I like better than TG’s highly priced pours.

    Hope Chicago reopens soon. Have a great beer Friday one and all!
