Earlier tonight I opened one of my last 07 Vertical Epics while I bottled a homebrew clone of the same beer. Then I spent the latter half of the night with a Hoppin Frog BA Outta Kilter (thanks radio2525!).

Brewed my IPA and cleaned up, then had some new guys:

Damn nice, no complaints at all. very balanced
    [IMG]

Nice dunkel, a bit off balanced but I enjoyed it.

Hell yea! this is excellent, one one of the better Witbiers I have ever had. so much flavor. Epic is a sleeper brewery for some great beers IMO.

Just cracked this one. This is really nice. Funky as hell

A bit of this later on:

Their Utah Sage Saison deserves some serious praise and hype, in my opinion. Have yet to have any of their other brews, I think, but I'm eager to try some more, now.

Man this is good. This is my second time having this beer, this bottle is about 11 months old, and I think I enjoy it more than I did having the same batch ~4 months ago. It's pretty delicious, so I'm drinking it way too fast for a 12%, but oh well. I think I get that woody taste much more than the first time I had it.

    Jammin' with some Zep

Great song, probably the best concert video I've ever seen, Led Zeppelin at Royal Albert is where its at.
Not that I condone this sort of activity, but if you were to take some hallucinogenic drugs, you should watch this (whole thing on youtube!).

Maybe I did, and maybe it was awesome.

Not nearly as hard as during 'Moby Dick'

"Ten minute drum solo? Man, you couldn't handle that shit on strong acid, man"
    Name that movie!
(FYI, 3/5 of us were able to handle it)

Of course this was in my younger, more irresponsible days

Checking on my recent batch of homebrew to see how it's conditioning. Only been a week since bottling, so the carbonation is still pretty low (not surprising), but definitely tasty. Gonna be a pretty solid winter warmer in another couple of weeks!

The best HF beer I've had. Very citrusy, perfect balance, nice touch of oak from the barrel aging. It's got so much going on, grapefruit on the nose and then just a blast of tropical notes with each sip. More grapefruit, orange, lemon, white wine, the slightest bit of spice from their farmhouse yeast. It's awesome, plain and simple. And if I could design something to drink, Juicy hits every point. Definitely a new favorite for me.

(It drinks VERY easily...if I was God, I'd pick this thing up by the case and cherish it whenever I wanted.)
