Beer, food and music seem to go together like IPA's and @TheIPAHunter or cross dressing and @GreenBayBA maybe white wine and @vabeerguy I could go on forever. That might make a good theme day Post a picture of a beer and yourself that most BA's can associate you with.
Sometimes I like to post music that has some sort of reference to the beer I'm drinking, like for example, Tom Petty's it's good to be King if I'm drinking a King Julius. Maybe sometimes it's the mood I'm in like Blue Monday or what I'm listening to while I'm drinking.
Then you have artists like @LarryV and others that post original music, art , spoken word photographs and experiences. It's nice that they share their talents with the group. It makes it like a really cool real bar with no filters and a great clientele
LarryV by the way could drop his guitar down a flight of steps and he would still sound awesome. Cheers.

Last of my Riggs Hefeweizen...until I can make another trip up to Chambana  Though having Live Oak as my regular is amazing, so there is that.

Spinning Beyond The Blue Horizon by George Benson. One of the first CTI albums to be released in the early 70's. The music here and the amazing cover photo/art by Pete Turner set the template for the best Jazz record label since Blue Note's heyday.

Can't have one Hefe without the other it seems...Live Oak of coarse :sunglasses:

More CTI jazz, this was released before Benson's Blue Horizon album, but Benson was an integral part in getting people like Stanley Turrentine, Ron Carter, and Freddie Hubbard on board with the label. Benson did his part to play on all the very early albums before his came out. Sugar is really good, and again Pete Turner's classic photo compositions. This one was censored basically right after the first release, but eventually that was lifted ha.

Not many people would try and "cover" John Coltrane's Impressions, but this is damn good. They knew it, cause they would lose so much cred if it wasn't

Rained almost all day. Now the sun is out and the sky is blue. I’m sitting on the swing in the front and the beer of now is Mama’s Little Yella Pils.

This is a pretty nice English Bitter with a good balance of sweet malts, bitter, herbal hops and distinct toffee and dark/red fruit notes, as well as just a hint of pine.

How does it age? I can find it everywhere but curious because they sit and jersey is disgustingly humid and freezing at night

Separatist Fruity Dabs. A gift from a very generous family member. It’s quite sweet, aged on orange zest and vanilla. However, I don’t really pick up any vanilla. Cheers!

This beer needs no introduction. Been a good 6 or 7 years since I last had this one. Yes, I know I’m drinking it wrong, but oh well. Hard to believe this was a big inspiration for today’s NE style IPA’s. Not much in common between this and what the NE style has become outside of some rounded juiciness coming from the hops and a soft feel to it. Love the clean, bold bitterness it offers. Sweet floral, ruby red grapefruit, navel orange, lemon hard candy, lemon zest, slight pineapple, slight ripe mango, herbaceous dankness, big pine resin bitter finish. Still stands the test of time. Absolutely outstanding DIPA.
