    For my personal tastes, Curieux smooths out with a year or two; I find the bourbon a little heavy-handed for the style when fresh.

    Regular Tripel ages well, but it's not a great style for aging overall. I have no issues with Tripel in the one- to two- year range, but I would probably avoid a 3-year dusty shelfie.

    Back in the olden days there was Late Night BA (LNBA), which was basically WBAYDN (at least in my glossed over version of history). When the site went down and came back in the current format (February 22, 2012) it became easier to post pictures and I believe videos were available for the first time. At some point starting the thread at 7:00pm EST became the rule. It was always intended to be a in the now thread, not what did you drink yesterday, last week or the ten impressive beers you drank with you friends during the day. The posting of music videos was an offshoot of being in the now, as in "Scored one last twelve pack of Celebration Ale. Listening to The Doors - LA Woman."

    The current WBAYDN, starting October 2012 is the result of formalizing the rules with regard to the LNBA thread and an attempt to accommodate BA's drinking in different time zones and the itinerant daytime drinkers in the U.S.

    I gotta say, English Extra Special Bitters aren't really a great choice in this sweltering heat. I'd much rather have an English Pale Ale like this, much better.
