    Back home and back at it. Timber Ales Insomniac’s Daydream IPA (Citra/Galaxy). Beautiful label and beer. 7 weeks in and still drinking great. Tropical and citrus fruits for days in a soft and drinkable body. Well done and sadly my last can.

    Deschutes Fresh Haze IPA - Fresh Squeezed just doesn't get enough credit IMO, as it's one of the first IPAs I had back in the day that showed me that IPAs didn't need to be all about crushing bitterness and how many fruity flavors can be coaxed out of hops. I revisited it recently and while the bitter bite is definitely there, it holds up well and is a nice bridger between OS and new school IPAs.

    But queue this beer. It's not the first time I have had it but it's been a while. This was canned on 05/26 and it's drinking wonderfully and I do prefer this version to Fresh Squeezed. Clocking in at 45 IBU that is about my sweet spot, and I find 45-50 to be just about the perfect balance. Great nose on this beer too.

    First try with a quad IPA, this one by Greater Good. I like these guys, surprised I don't see many of us posting their stuff. Well executed IMO, no booze at all for 12% which is impressive for a freshy.

    How did it stack up to the original player? Hands down my favorite beer from OH to date. Although All Green Everything is a strong second.

    It was a valid attempt. I actually thought it was better a few weeks ago. The individuals I shared cans with seemed to enjoy it.

    Side note: I'm down with the Freaky Friday theme. I think more breweries should swap recipes. Cheers!

    Enjoying my second of the day. Generally comfortable, although a brief sun shower kicked up and was gone just as quickly.
