Great amp. The dirty channel has a ton of tonal variation. I love the stereo effects loop.
I have Strymon pedals that were made for it.

Drinking at the moment: Sunshine and Opportunity from Almanac. It's a nice beer.

Earlier, at the Bine in Bothell, I had a few nice beers as well:

Strata Local 66 from Headless Mumby. Exploring lagers is fun. This one's OK.

Splash from Structures. Great pale ale.

Block 15's Welcome Back! Pretty good IPA, but not particularly notable.

Yeah, totally agree! I haven't tried the stereo effects loop yet but I have a Strymon BlueSky and a Strymon Brigadier so I really need to get off my fat ass and hook it up as stereo. But they sound great just front ending the amp. I have no regrets about purchasing this amp at all, I always wanted to try an Orange and I'm glad I did.

Seems like I can never get through a session anymore without cracking at least one of these. Kinda like "Flo" from Progressive not making it through a commercial without mentioning insurance. :grimacing:

Third can of this over the last two days, definitely on the sweeter side, but a dry bitter finish. But definitely sweet orange/vanilla note I’m assuming from the Lotus hops. Not too shabby!

Dedicating this beer to @Mister_Faucher - this place, BA, ain’t that bad!

This is an awesome craft beer attempt at an American Adjunct Lager! So tasty and clean, with just a hint of sweetness. Really good.

FaceTimed with a good friend from back in the day who now lives in Argentina - good chat. They are in the midst of the COVID battle just like the rest of us.

I also sent a message to a girl I went to elementary school with who got deported back to New Zealand (BENEE’s homeland). She is seeing here on NYE. If things get better, should AJ make the plunge? Seems like a beautiful country.

Now of course it’s going to be a BENEE night:

We went from using cheap birdsead to something very marginally more expensive and have had a lot more woodpeckers and elusive birds this year. I guess the trash panda  is also down with the new mix.

Sand City’s newest big boy...a 10.2% IIPA. Looks a little off, but fortunately tastes pretty great. Really smooth. Has kind of a citric effervescence to it.
One-and-done, have to be up at 6:30 for another 16 hour day. My last 3 weeks...56, 56 and 64 hours worked. Much earned 3-day weekend starts at exactly this time tomorrow.

Currently empty, but I plan on hitting them up tomorrow. I live close and have been doing my best to help keep them afloat the past several months. Their beer is so good.

Had this earlier, and I'd like to compare the can vs draft.

Stone Buenaveza Salt & Lime Lager with a Woodford Small Batch #0743 Bourbon as a side car. My, closer. This lager is solid and would've gone down a treat in the hellishly hot Florida Straights. Happy to be back to lows in the 60s/70s!

Getting in the hot tub was a shock, once my sun burnt front legs met 104 degree water, penance for omitting sunscreen

Thanks for the question. Decoction mashing is a time-consuming way of doing it. The first and only time I did a triple decoction, it took 4.5 hours. The beer style was a Dunkel. The Malt character produced by the decoction hit this style correctly.

After that, and I mostly did single decoctions and an occasional double. Having been to Germany at least four times, I knew that proper character of most German beers required a different approach and perhaps different barley malt than I was getting in Seattle.
