We were booked to go to Myrtle Beach next month. Covid-19 has caused us to rethink this-no judgement on anyone who is going there but the possibility of a 14 day quarantine upon our return to PA was not workable due to jobs and kid's school. Luckily we can either have our deposit refunded or applied to a trip next year. Now we are hastily searching vrbo for an affordable replacement. First world problems, I guess. And who knows, we may end up near some WBAYDN BAs. Hamms helps the process. Cheers!

Had to get some money to buy weed, so I am back at home waiting for my buddy to come over. Hopefully it's good quality, he said he paid more than usual. Playing chess puzzles again, maybe I'll get back to regular video games later tonight.

Perrin Pineapple Upside Down IPA. Excellent Milkshake IPA. Nice head retention/spotty soapy lacing. Aromas and flavors of big tart/tangy pineapples, fruit skin, tangerine, orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, coconut, peach, pear, apricot, passion fruit, mango, honeydew melon, cherry, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/zest, mint, wood, peppercorn, and pine hops; with moderate vanilla, cream, wheat, white bread dough malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Light pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness; and fruit tang/tartness on the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; very creamy/silky/bready wheat/lactose; some sticky hops, fruit tang/acids, and light resins/rinds in the mouthfeel. Lightly increasing lingering tart/bitter dryness; no cloying/astringency. Very smooth/soft, no warmth of 7%. Awesome Sabro, Styrian Cardinal profile. Very juicy/vibrant hops/fruit; some dank earthy notes; with a great balanced lactose and wheat/malt backbone. Light residual sweetness with lingering dryness. Glad I got the 6 pack. No complaints at all.

Pretty big head on this due to an aggressive pour because I was thirsty and the fact that it’s not that cold, still tasty.

Knocked off an Oakshire Reclaim the Fame IPA. I was a big Charlie Daniels fan back in the day, and was a bit bummed by his swing right later in his career.

I have some scary tales and actually some funny stories about my experiences. Research Briley brothers. Yes I was there. I think I pissed my pants.

Out at a State Farm I did post a funny story of a 20 year old female staffer (smart kid graduated from college two years early) asking a grisly old guy how do you tell the bulls from the rest.

This is it, my 3-day weekend is finito after this guy. Been a good one. Believe it or not, these fuckers tried to call me in around 5. Is nothing sacred? I’m not that important.

Anywho, Heavy Boots of Lead by Singlecut. I’ve had this bottle for awhile, really no clue how old. Really smooth. Probably past it’s prime though. Dull chocolate. I’m gonna drink it but I’m really happy I’m getting to the point where my basement doesn’t have these types of old beers in it anymore.

TRVE -- Lower (can damaged dropping it on concrete earlier, but a judicious tap of a teaspoon and it opened like a charm...)...

...I acquired a bunch of vinyl today, locally and online...of all of it, my favorite is the Zappa 'Weasels Ripped My Flesh' on the Bizarre label, purchased locally at Independent Records in the Springs for a very reasonable chunk of change...

    ---------
...late addition...forgot to post the pic of the other vinyl...

I'm impressed with it. Nice crisp and light citrus character and very low ABV...a very sessionable farmhouse that seems closer to a kölsch / shandy beer than a saison...
