    The booze drops off on all barrel aged beers as time goes on. I prefer KBS when it’s fresh as its bourbon is (to me) better when hot. Expedition tastes great at all phases to me. Your mileage may vary. Cheers!

    That beer is so damn good. I don't care what the ratings indicate. Almost like a Sip of Sunshine/Focal/Pliny hybrid. And the lacing it leaves! It's also listed as retired?? @beergoot just sent me one, so I'm assuming that's a mistake? I hope it's a mistake. I wish we got that over here!

    Wrapped up five miles in the heat, air is super thick again today. What would go best after that and with taco Tuesday? Well a Sly Fox Helles, of course. Sometimes I throw a fresh lime slice and a pinch of sea salt into my Lagers but skipping that today, this one is drinking perfectly all on its own. Prost!

    I thoroughly enjoyed it. As in, take the first sip, and then kind of open my eyes really wide and whisper, "shit...that's good!" to myself. I'm known for being a bit quirky with my IPA preferences, but that one ticked all the boxes for me.

    Mountain. Saw them in concert. One of the guys I went with snuck in a tape recorder (no iPhones back in those days) and recorded Nantucket Sleigh Ride before it was released.
