    A new beer from a brewery I thought was in MD, but apparently is in VA, not too far from Adroit Theory. Heard some chatter on local Twitter feeds so I figured I'd grab one when I saw it at local bottle shop. The GF said she liked it before I had a chance to delve in while messing with the photo:

    Wheatland Springs Farm Brewery Test of Time - not overly specific in their ingredient list, and not sure if the 25% of Virginia grain is the same 25% from their farm, nor how large the region is, and obviously "new world hops" isn't very clear.

    So presumably they are going for balance. I'd say that was mostly achieved. Nice construction with a soft feel, though a bit bland up front. Just when I think it's done, though, there's some hop bitterness with a sneak attack. Floral turns spicy turns woody bitterness, little hop burn in the end. A bit disjointed, but fair enough. Once we feel like getting out again, we'll need to hit this place as a side trip to Adroit.

    Undulate v4 by Dry & Bitter, 5.5% ABV stout.
    I love Dry & Bitter for their amazing IPA's. This is my stout from them. Not blown away but not disappointed either. An easy cherry stout but without getting pastry-like. I definitely prefer my stouts heavier but this'll do.

    Had a light day at work and got in a gym visit and it's still not 4pm. Might as well have a few beers. Found this Wainbows in the back of the fridge. Not bad.

    This is truly magnificent, advocates. I imagine that Jim was drinking this when he penned The WASP. Matter of fact, I swear I stood next to him in line that cold afternoon in Monson that required police presence when this beer dropped. Just a bit of time travel to inspire Jim to pen this masterpiece on the final Doors (original lineup) album.
