Back home at my 90s-00s Norm Bar. Great still here, sad the 3 Sheep’s isn’t flowing.

Lagunitas IPA to start. Not digging the plastic cups but totally understand.

Two for Tuesday rolls on. Steely Dan is the selection.

Popped across the street with a coworker to Gruff Brewing, and had a couple pints in the sun. A Space Cadet Lindsey and a Mid-90's Pale were my choices.

This would seem to be an @Ocalafox kind of variant, no? Jai Alai aged on Spanish cedar. It’s interesting. Not much aroma to me, but a solid cedar flavor on the entire sip, with a persistent flavor. Ever so slight hop bite at the tip, but it backs off to a full malt / cedar finish.

My last Stroh's with a small pour of Early Times Bottled in Bond. This bourbon is really oaky and rather dark for no age statement other than the 4 year minimum for BiB. Very complimentary pairing.

I dig this as well, especially with fall coming quickly. My first time having it was fall/winter of 2016 when the top banner still advertised it's gold medal award. Wife and I killed way too many of those bottles marathoning Breaking Bad on AMC.

One of my local breweries has an IPA named Cedar Dust, after a local mountain bike trail. So many folks say they can taste the cedar. There is no wood in the beer.
