My last of these and Seapine beers don't hold well, even when refrigerated...

I’m usually not a huge fan of coconut in my IPAs but this is done really well. A good beer to start off with after a late night.

    In case you forgot

Seems like every brewery and their mama is on the Sabro/Cashmere hype this summer. Like there was a fire sale on those hops.

    Holler ESB, excellent.

Patti Smith Radio Ethiopia, also excellent and criminally underrated follow up to Horses.

This one has actual coconut added to it. It's brewed with Equinox, El Dorado and Zythos. Very delightful in the summer cheers

Hazy, light amber-yellow, little head, lots of carbonation. Not much aroma, vaguely fruity and tart.

Taste is milkshake fruited IPA or sour. I would guess mango orange and lactose. Mouthfeel fairly light or fluffy.

    Tasty, good in the summer.

Reveal: Peachie Oh from Sig Brewing, fruited sour with sweet vanilla. Not bad!

Generally speaking, I’m not a session IPA guy and Nickel Brook Brewing Lost In Orbit, while being quite good, does little to convince me to drink more sessionable IPA’s. 4.5% ABV, 36 IBU and made with Amarillo, Citra and Simcoe hops. Quite good, as I said, but just not really my thing. I like more push back from my IPA’s. Cheers.

I just can't take coconut in an IPA, an Imp stout? Sure.

Fremont just dropped their newest HfoD and I pissed and moaned to a rep saying that Sabro is an acquired taste and they MIGHT be doing a 6 or 7 C hop bomb for the next version... ?

    We'll see.

There’s no Sabro in this one. It’s straight up
    coconut added.

I didn’t post this beer in yesterday’s WCIPA thread b/c 1) I’m not sure it really is a WC style (but admittedly my research lists it as such...) and 2) I had 3 other beers to drink/review, which was plenty for me :sunglasses: ... but I love this beer even if a bit pricey, and so happy it comes to SWFL - MBC’s Lunch:

Bottled 6/30/20. I get lemongrass and grapefruit with just the barest whiff of pine (I smell more “earthy” from the Simcoe). Lightly bitter grapefruit rind, lemongrass and orange peel; no pine; semi sweet malt foundation. Short lived bitter citrus hop linger, this beer is exactly what I like to drink (notwithstanding the Simcoe); and always delicious in my book. Cheers brothers and sisters of the Now!
