Mortals Hydra passion fruit, sweet cherry, and peach cheers
This is honestly one of the best pilsners I’ve ever drank and, unfortunately, it’s my last. Isles looking good but it’s still a 1-goal game. Keep it up.
I’m making good progress in the camper; the fridge/freezer the cleanest in years...can’t remember last time I drank a beer in RV - Grapefruit Sculpin:
I was running A/C off of outlet in garage...easily cooled rig to 72°. Then the house breaker popped; seems Jr. Z is now running both the washing machine AND the dryer! It only took a few minutes for RV to heat up to 80° in this weather. Never fear, I’ve got cold beer (and a built in Cummins generator ). Cooling back down...Cheers!
Me and you would likely agree Mortalis makes the best fruited sours in the NY regional market I think (ET Stay Home from ETNYC was close. There are other competitors like 450N, Imprint, Answer, that are coming pretty close but don't match Mortalis. If you have never tried one of the Coastal Sunshines HMU if you wanna check it out it will impress you I think.
Mehr Bier, bitte.
Weltenburger Kloster Barock Dunkel
Good Afternoon Heathens,
A flat out special beer.
Southern Tier - Orange Creamsicle "Milkshake IPA" (16oz can).. cheers!
It is a beautiful day!
That sounds and look spectacular.
Another Grapefruit Sculpin:
The RV is a respectable 74° now; round two of cleaning and repacking the inside...
I actually traded for some coastal at mortalis this past weekend. Looking forward to digging in. What I love about mortalis is they don't skimp on the fruit. Every beer is packed with fruit skins and some pulp. I know it does not sound appealing but they're basically alcoholic smoothies. Having a mortalis blackberry raspberry siren and it's ridiculously thick cheers
Fantastic saison / cider hybrid, cheers y‘all!
Chores complete, now enjoying this treat from France.
Notes over at NBW
It's out of this world. It's a 8 hour roundtrip drive to get cans but I think it's worth it. I love to drive through the rolling hills of the finger lakes cheers
Happy Sunday ba. It’s the loser...from mother fucking Boston,
I would be a 2 day trip or me. So I will have to live vicariously through you!
Founders - Solid Gold
Opaque Thoughts from Mountains Walking Brewery in Bozeman, Montana. Double Milkshake IPA with Mango, Strawberry, Coconut, Vanilla, and Lactose. Not my favorite style but Purdy darn tasty.
Another great lager from Schilling. Them and Fox Farm are my 2 “it” breweries right now. 3rd period....I’m buckled up.
No lies told. Cheers!!!
At the new East Sixth Brewery (formerly Rebel Kettle) drinking Old Money Vampire she Chest Eagle while the wife drinks the Sugar Rush Slush. Got some pork rinds coming. And that's a cheeseburger between grilled cheese.
Starting with some Tired Hands. It's decent. Nice dank note from the Vic Secret. Cheers, advocates!!!
Drekker Braaaaaaaains Double Fruit Smoothie Sour - Raspberry/Pomegranate/Plum, 7.8% ABV. Pours murky red with a two-finger pink head, with the puree leaving residue instead of lacing. Nose is raspberry and plum. Taste follows plus lactose, moderately sweet, slightly tart, light bitterness. Excellent thick and smooth mouthfeel, overall outstanding.

Kindred Spirit West Creek Brown ale
'T IJ van de Duvel. Hazy IPA from 'T IJ and Duvel (Duvel owns 'T IJ brewery).
A one time only brew. And this probably was one of the last ones that were around.
Just opened up my crowler of Stickier Bandit, the Craft Aid beer from North Fork Brewing Company, an Imperial version of their Sticky Bandit IPA. Interesting and rather subtle, unlike this:
Stay Safe, Well Done, Jolly Good, and Sláinte!
Last night I noticed that on my beloved Samsung refrigerator/freezer there was a display of OF OF. Due to my BAC at the time, I assumed the device was simply displaying its strange sense of humor, or it was some other type of non-urgent matter. I learned today that OF OF means display mode, meaning everything on the refrigerator/freezer was working, besides keeping things cold. Obviously, OF OF is the only logical abbreviation for display mode, considering the instruction manual does not reference display mode at all. I do not wish to throw out any food, so I am going to grill all kinds of thawed meat today.
Pool day at my cousins house!
Adios Pantalones from Twin Elephant Brewing. I had this beer the other day and posted about it. Was going to write it up on NBS but did not realize it's GWTW. I had already posted in the New beer weekend thread so I'm enjoying my 2ond growler now. This is the grain bill and hops from the brewery's site, Base of organic Pilsner, German Vienna and PA yellow and blue corn, some Hersbrucker and Saaz hops and a North American lager strain. The corn is fresh but roasted. a nice refreshing beer on a cool summer afternoon,
Beautiful day today!
This is a pretty decent beer from Troegs - Lucky Holler.
An offering for this overcast Sunday ..
Food looks great, you're making me hungry!!! Nice job on the stirfry.
Lunch of Boar's Head Pastrami on Sour Dough with Cream Cheese, Sauerkraut and Horseradish dressing, washed down with Trillium Fated Farmer barrel fermented wild ale made with Seyval Blanc. It's more like carbonated wine and throws lots of dregs, but it's pleasant enough as a Summer brew
A closer study
And now a Sugar Charlatan.
GF Sculpin #3 :
I’m determined to finish today’s RV project, before I have to move the camper to my side yard/parking spot (City Code), although it seems I’m spending more time drinking beer and looking at posts...keep ‘em coming!
