Played the first true “Fall-feeling” round of golf this morning and it was great.

I’ve refrained from buying any seasonal beers because I have too much beer in my house. I caved today.

Sadly, I can’t remember the last time I read a review here to inform a purchase, but this time I did. After reading comments from a few familiar names, @WesMantooth @SABERG @Amendm, I confidently pulled the trigger and was steered in the right direction.

Canned earlier this month.

A semi local beer from right up the road in Bloomington

I sent one of these out in a trade recently and felt inclined to revisit & review. A nice amber ale. Cheers all!

 

We have the groomer over my dad's house. Got both Chuck and Bo a bath and trim. I woke up to find Bo sitting in my seat earlier.


Ignite Brewing Ignite Your Adventure. Great west coast. Tons of dank Citra/Mosaic. Clean pale malts. Pretty crisp. Lingering resins. No hop astringency.

Did not love it. It is about a month old but was sitting on a warm shelf when I got it. You can tell that there is no sign of the dry hopping left. I'd like to try it again but fresher

Later start than expected, made it to Revolution’s Brew Pub after picking up my Thundertaker release at the brewery.

Two on the tap list new to me. The lighter for the two, Calle, a 7.3% HazyStrong Pale Ale, $7 fir the pint draft pour.



Hops: Aggressive dry hopping with Motueka, Wa-it’s and Wakatu, with lime extract.

Appearance: Bright orange juice tan murky pour, white head with fine generous creamy bubble lacing. 4.00

Aroma: Faint citrus and lime. 2.75

Taste: Bolder and very sweet, like slurped sweet. Lime is the predominant flavor, citrus backing, no bitterness. 3.25

Mouthfeel: Tingling sweetness throughout the pour, tingles the tongue. Fizzy carbonation holds throughout, medium slightly creamy body, sweet aftertaste. 3.0

Overall: This is similar to your standard sweet NEIPA, though with lime. Ok, but unbalanced, one timer from me. 3.0

Debating whether to get Thunderstruck staring at my four pack.

Fir you working stiffs, the Hymn most of you are waiting for this afternoon.
