    Been looking forward to this for a long time and thought I'd crack it open tonight to celebrate 1k followers on Instagram. Rich in character, yet superbly balanced, a sublime Lambic that did not disappoint in the least.

    Holler Oktoberfest on this beautiful afternoon (its just now getting over 90 degrees, but has been great until now, and its still not that bad. It will get continuously more beautiful here in the next 6-8 months, and this is why people actually live in Houston ha).

    Spinning my long awaited Nubya Garcia album Source. I order this several months ago, but because of shipping delays it just finally arrived. It took so long Concord Jazz upgraded it to a signed copy :sunglasses:. This is just an incredible new album.

    Fairly hazy, muted orange and yellow body; thick and frothy white head, sticky. Some fresh citrus with stale citrus pith smells; herbal. Semi-fresh orange and pineapple flavors; powdered sugar and biscuit; strong bitterness with a phenolic edge to it. Heavy body; mildly velvety; some alcohol burn; semi-dry mouthfeel.

    An okay beer that would be better if it didn't have a slight burnt rubber quality to the flavor.

    Bottled 9.3 opened 9.26, poured into an ipa glass

    Three finger creamy white foam cap , very good retention , Settles to a domed island with very good lacings over a turbid derp orange liquid with some microcarbonation streams

    Aroma of peach, orange , whiff of pine

    Taste is Peach, orange with a pine finish

    Sudsy mouthfeel , gentle hop nibble nicely lingers

    Good beer
