This beer is delicious, but I think Clear Additional Frog is a strange name for an IPA!
It’s starting to feel like fall around here.
Congrats to you and the family!
Cheers BA's!!! Hope everyone had a gorgeous Friday evening. Always love this beer, in between a fest and marzen IMO. If that makes any sense, probably not? Who cares. Beer!
Still celebrating the Broncos World Championship victory over the Jets!!
Stone Delicious and Vega Blonde at The Lodge....
Perpetual Embrace from Knotted Root. The gf knows how much I love Nelson hops, so she gifted me this just because. Guess what? It delivered. So thankful. Cheers!
I'll post a bunch of old pics next Friday to pad the stats.
Did I miss something?
It seems you have a little thing for Little Thing.
My first thought when I saw that was "Halloween nativity scene?"
Nothing better than a beer to go along with very disappointing barbecue.
Exciting Friday night. Got a couple weeks worth of hand sanitizer at dollar tree and got catfish..
Prairie Ales Slush
I feel this post deep in my bones.
There is little more disappointing in this world than mediocre BBQ. DO IT RIGHT OR DON'T DO IT AT ALL. *sigh*
Having a Founders Frootwood cherry ale aged in maple syrup bourbon barrels from 2017. Right now tasting like dried cherries and rooibos tea, red fruits, slight cinnamon sweet spice, sweet maple syrup oaky bourbon barrel with some earthy floral hops to balance. Not as good as fresh but still pretty tasty. Cheers!
It's the nets, nothing to explain.
...and as I finish up that last beer I pour a new one (with a lil' dram of scotch on the side, not pictured.)
You gots fried cats? You don't need hand sanitizer. Did you catch them in the Kankakee?
That label makes me both confused and interested.
That sucks, I hope she feels better soon.
I don’t know the hop profile for this, but I’m guessing Mosaic is in some way involved due to the color. Whatever, it’s pretty tasty, especially for a “Beer Of The Month Club” beer your boss sent you as a work anniversary gift.
Is this where I reply "OK Boomer!" ?
You have no idea. I don't even think it was smoked, it tasted like it was just low and slow in an oven. I could have made it. Worst mac and cheese I've ever had too, no creaminess at all, it was actually hard and jagged. Well, it was sustenance, so I guess that's good.
Come join me in fantasy land. We're not seeing another title let alone the playoffs until Mahomes is outta there, so about 15 years LOL
whipped out the one liter!
As a friend used to say to me, "buzzed and disappointed is the human condition". I think he was right.
Reply however you wish, just don't cancel me.
Fantasy land? I know all about that! I was born in Chicago and raised on plenty of pipe dreams. One lasted 108 years!
I caught them at Harold's Chicken shack
This evening calls for a good stout, this fits the bill.
But it's a chicken shack?
DDH Always and Forever, Other Half. Fire.
Pretty sure you aren’t allowed to post pictures of water on this thread.
The beer or the Milli Vanilli?
The music speaks for itself, but the beer is great, too. I had it fresh a couple years ago and it’s even better now. It says Eisbock on there, but I don’t believe there was any freezing involved in making this. To me it tastes like an American Barleywine — although, being Jacks Abby, I suppose they used lager yeast. Maybe that’s where the Eisbock comes in? Anything I see from their “Maker” series, I try.
Hamms. No surprises with this beer. Cheers!
Yes but they fry other stuff too.
Very few decent American Oktoberfest beers, this is one of them.
