Lots of good points, anyone that is high risk should take all the recommended precautions. However, I work at the largest defense contractor in the US. We were deemed essential in the beginning, have state department paperwork to show a cop if we we're ever stopped at 0400 on our way to work. We've been on mandatory overtime since May, working 6-7 days a week. I've had about 19 days off this year, and that includes weekend days. We all wear masks at our desks then take them off an sit together at lunch and breaks. My team is 145 folks and we average 15-20 people out per day (mixture of reasons 5-8 covid per day), 2,250 10 hour absences since April, over 11 man years of absence. But, and if this makes me a dick, so be it, last night when I posted at Shuckers there were 50 folks in there that would have not even considered wearing a mask in there, it's just the way it is here. The flu vaccine was invented in the 1940's and still 12,000-60,000 folks die every year in the US. Most of us don't plan on wearing masks forever, there will never be a totally preventative vaccine or cure, so we've decided to take back our normal lives. We've been drinking in bars, shopping in stores and going to work like normal in my area. Peace and cheers!

I took a few hour long naps, been texting my girlfriend intermittently all day. Going to go out for a drink with a colleague I worked with for 3-4 years. Used to sit in my 4 person cubicle. We did DFSS class together too, along with projects. I will call my girlfriend when I get home if she is still awake. I am playing chess puzzles with green zebra.

Having a Mango & Passion Fruit Daily Serving from Trillium right now. Really great, straight up fresh mango and passionfruit, slight graham crackery wheaty malts, and the faintest hint of hops. Fruit to the maximum. Cheers!

Doing some beer fridge cleanup (I absolutely LOVE “Beer Fridge Cleanup Day”!), this was canned 7/1/20 and is holding up exceptionally well. Firestone-Walker is world-class, IMHO.

Starting with Cactus Flats from Bow & Arrow Brewing Co. Canned yesterday. Shop manager said they only got 3-cases. $15.99 for a 4-pack.

#2, my appreciation for this beer increases each time I have it. I have 3 or 4 bottles left - and, as of yesterday, it’s still on the shelf at my local. How is that possible?

Are you getting or already got an ASUS 3080 FE? My system is built but needs an RTX TUF 3090. Ryzen 7 3800X, Asus TUF X570 Plus, 128 GB G.SKILL Trident Z RGB DDR4. TUF 1650 which was bought for my old computer but I decided to start a Gamer and lost my mind. I got an ASUS TUF VG27AQ Gaming monitor. Supports up to 165 HZ. The colors are fantastic in MS Flight Sim 2020. Now to get that TUF 3090 GPU. WOW FACTOR! Supposed to be available 10/21.

Last one, they can call this “hazy,” but I wish 3 Floyds would just call it an IPA, because it’s pretty flocking good, but it’s not a “hazy” in any way, shape, or form, IMHO.

Four hour drive to the vacation house just 30 mi from the Firestone-Walker mothership brewery in Paso Robles (central CA) while also driving right past the F-W Barrelhouse facility on the way up, so it seems only appropriate to crack open a F-W product....especially when it was only one of two beers :-( in the fridge when I got here.
