Mountains Walking Brewery's Opaque Thoughts Double Milkshake IPA with Pineapple, Peach, Tangerine, Vanilla Bean, and Lactose.

I think I could get to 150 characters just typing all that out.

    Anyway, it's really tasty.

Närke Kulturbryggeri is one of the most lauded breweries in Sweden, even boasting a BA Top 250 beer in Kaggen. A few weeks ago, one of the founders, Håge Viktorsson, passed away. We lost a true pioneer, and a great voice in beer. I raise my glass to Håge, Sweden’s @bobv look-alike and beer legend.

Okay, a sour hazy IPA with lactose (and a bunch of other silly stuff) - so in this case “IPA” is being used as a synonym for beer.

An Aslin offering obtained with the last one, pretty sure. This one held up fairly well, I guess. Sour fruit with sweet and floral aspects - not sure if any come from hops.

Fair enough, I just don’t like the “style” as it were. It’s Okay, Baby.

Very dark yet clear brown body; thick, dense and foamy head; sticky. Excellent smell blend of roasted grain and dark roasted coffee; mocha. The taste mirrors the aroma; a bit maltier, sweeter; toffee; mild suggestion of caramel; definitely coffee bitterness (difficult to say anything about the hops). Heavy body yet a bit weak in feel; sticky and semi-sweet.

This is a fine, robust coffee porter. The smell and taste really hit the mark. The brewery teamed up with Sweet Bloom Coffee Roasters for this beer. They're located in Lakewood, CO.

You know that feeling when you find a good beer in the back of your fridge that you forgot you had? I wish I had that feeling all the time.[IMG]

Good afternoon, advocates!!! I'm literally done with this beer (just about), as I was too busy liking all the posts from today. Shout out to @CanConPhilly, that jawn you ate this afternoon looked fire. And yes, as he will tell you, jawn can literally apply to anything. This beer could be my jawn. Peace...

Hop Butcher Monster Cave TIPA (Nelson Sauvin/Strata). Pillowy soft, creamy, and dense with impactful hop flavors despite the 2 months age. Strawberry, sugar-coated ruby red grapefruit, light ripe white grape, grapefruit and orange pith, pink lemonade, ripe lychee, ripe passionfruit, grass, earthiness. It’s sweet, but has an awesome drying, bitter finish that wipes out a good amount of the initial sweetness.
I’ve been hearing great things about HBftW across the country recently. Don’t really have access to breweries like Tree House or Monkish, so to hear that these guys are comparable is pretty cool. Cheers BA!

Wait, what? I haven't seen that in years (ignoring that the label changed) -- one of my favorite Lagunitas beers of all time (when it's fresh, which became impossible to find in the last year or two that I ever saw it on shelves).

Damn! Now I have to go hunting.
