Some housework completed, time to checkin with the
Afternoon Crew. Outstanding Cream Ale
The answer to this question is always yes.
Is that a 2020 bottle? Did not realize Elysian was still bombering their pumpkin brews. That beer won my 2016 blind pumpkin beer tasting, but haven’t seen it here this year.
MARYLAND!! is awesome
No, not really, we would prefer a pic of you passed out among the bottles! Cheers!
ps-that’s not my preference, but it’s Halloween, so maybe lighten things up a bit!
I’ve crossed the holidays! Cheers
Yep, a 2020, the only one in their pumpkin series that I found by itself in a bomber.
Ted says Happy HalloweenHappy Halloween, figured I'd start with something pumpkin
Home just in time to have a beer and head out into the Black Hills to set up deer camp.
Opening day tomorrow!
Beer #2. Blind beer from @bl00 .
L - dense bright white head sticks around for ages. Body is near-opaque medium orange.
S - bread, pepper, citrus, strong floral. Guessing saison.
T - similar to nose. Very floral, bready, lemon/lime. Not sour, tart, or hoppy. No noticeable alcohol.
F - medium-light body with aggressive carb. The carb bubbles persist on the tongue well after each sip.
O - my guess is a 4-5% non-barrel aged saison.
Reveal. Well I totally missed the peach. My favorite fruit even! Even now I’m struggling to detect peach in this. But even so it’s a tasty, refreshing saison. Thanks again Dan!
You know that @impending is going to bring it today, so here is my attempt at photographic success! @VABA, how did I do?
I’m still a few hours away from being able to have some beers but @mschrei and @GreenBayBA have just about convinced me that Darkness should be in my lineup today
Double Dry Hopped Stillings Street.

Burning Bush Brewing Tree Wrestler spruce tip IPA.
This is the fourth different beer I've had from this new-to-me-brewery, and it is the best of a very okay bunch. Nothing special, and each is just short of something, but there is also nothing offensive or wrong.
Loose Diamonds by Other Half. Tough half for Michigan, but am counting on the second half:
Stay Safe, GO BLUE, and Sláinte!
Triple cross post, with my full review in NBW, and also posted in the Online Lambic tasting thread. Hope you all enjoy a Lambic or two, and the extra hour (but not the sad early darkness) this weekend, as we light up the pumpkins, and fall back (hopefully for the last time).

Yama Hama, it’s fright night. Cheers and Go Green!
Dry Dock's Apricot Blonde, somewhat past its best by date, still OK. Gift from a new employee who brought it with him from Colorado, describing it as his go-to beer.
Ditto. Thanks GreenBayBA.
I made that mistake last night asking for KBS "makk-in-akk"" and wondered why the look I got back seemed "bewildered". I didn't get it. Oh well, now I do.
On future visits, I won't repeat that mispronunciation.
Sadly though, owner said he won't be getting that variant and doubted other stores would get it. He said it might change, but short term, no-go. Therefore, I will need to trade for it, because I really want to try it.
Wait, you just had Väsen the beer before, which is like, literally right around the corner from The Veil. Or is this a Halloween trick?
Aw, c'mon man, your making me drool over here. Your not playing fair
That Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout must be so good, it can't be put into words.
Both from @bl00 ’s travels, but yes, yes I did.
Pouring one for a legend — R.I.P., Sir Sean:
Tree House - Haze DIPA
I recognize that Ryan Adams is incredibly problematic, but goddamn this is a great song and the album sounds great on vinyl.
Grimm Hyperfocus Galaxy. While waiting for a somewhat improvised lasagna.
