Good morning all. It’s 9 am east coast time and no thread yet? Is this how you start one ? Probably not.

this classic set up brought to you by a lack of caring. Was having a Budweiser attack so grabbed this on my way out the store this morning. Many years ago when Jackass and Viva La Bam was still on TV, Don Vito used to yell about a how he’s having a “budweiser attack” whenever he needed a drink and also many moons ago I had a now ex girlfriend who drank exclusively Budweiser and when she got upset, our friends would say this was the issue as well. Hoping to coin term further.

happy Election Day I suppose. Taking bets on wether or not the Philly plague continues this week after possible results and also to each their own. I do hope this thread remains positive and about the beer in your hand today. If you are in the US please go vote.

    cheers all.

I took yesterday off as a cleanse day, and got a bunch of stuff done...amazing how that works out ...

Mrs. Z and I will take the RV to GA this weekend for a social distancing 4 days of camping with my little brother and his wife. He is one week on the road already, pulling his Airstream. Looking forward to getting the wife out of the house and into some cool fresh air...

    Coffee break - KBS Espresso:

Bottled 10/21/20. Black with ruby edges; dark tan head of mixed bubbles; very good cap retention; bands of lacing; medium plus legs on swirl. Strong roast coffee bean nose with slightest whiff of bourbon. Taste is predominately coffee with bittersweet dark chocolate right behind; not finding bourbon, but some oak on the backend. Smooth creamy feel; medium body, moderate carbonation; minimal warmth from 12% abv with tingly alcohol bite on tip of tongue; dry barrel finish. Overall I like better than last year’s version; long strong bitter coffee roast linger; KBS base; a delicious coffee forward BBA Stout.

Updated my last year’s review...now a bit higher...

If you haven’t done so already, go Vote!

    Good morning or afternoon all,

Nothing much going on today, beside watching the election late this evening for us Euros, hopefully a clear winner is declared, whoever that is.

Drinking Westmalle Tripel, in the meantime.

The wife caught me doomscrolling after my 9 mile run, enjoying another Singlecut Flash in the Middle IPA. I really dig this... great weight, good enough bitterness... not ass-kicking.
Cheers, vote if you haven't. Congrats to those who have and are actual adults. Onward...

Staying up really late or getting up really early, that's the question. By no means I'm going to miss this totally, must have at least one beer!

That’s an easy one. Going to bed at normal hour like 2300 and waking up for the much needed “night-pee” at 0300 and checking out our phone. Hopefully there’s a winner ASAP.

Have a good Monday. I got back in Ohio last night at midnight. I got a job at a gas station for minimum wage, thanks covid. At least I get a flex schedule and they will only work me 40-48 a week. Will probably start next week. I need to put more effort into my engineer resume applications. My mom suggested I start making unique cover letters for every submittal, seems like a lot of extra work, but I need to do something to stand out I suppose.

    Awesome as always.

Used to stay up with friends when I was a student (think the first Clinton election). Wonderful nights with debating, drinks and burgers

Not staying up now. Don't have a real favorite either. Not even thinking about discussing American politics with my wife

Cheers, and let's hope for the best for all!
