    Maybe you are reaching a point where you can't just sit down enjoy a new beer. You keep comparing them to beers you had in the past. There are wine snobs like that.
    I became legal to buy and drink beer in NJ in 1972. We had a choice of 7/10 AALs. Count your blessings.

    I was respectfully asking you what I might be missing. I'm not a beer snob, sir. I'll drink a Hamm's with you any night of the week. Cheers!

    Side note: For me, personally, maybe I'm not a fan of the house yeast. Maybe it's the water treatment. For whatever reason, they just don't capture what I would consider a world-class NEIPA. Much love.

    Notch’s The Standard is one of my highest rated beers. If I was limited to only one brew, that would be my choice. ( I would want it on tap at home).

    Afternoon BA's! The in person and virtual classrooms are shut down! Thanksgiving break starts now. Kicking it off with a wonderful brew from Modern Times, DDH MT6. Delicious. I was disappointed the keg of Melvin kicked before I could imbibe. But, this brew makes up for it.
