Used to love dig in the creek bed at my Uncles farm in Maryland as a lad. Had no eye for tools or points back then, no telling what I missed. The Miami Tribe has presence in far NE Oklahoma, they must've gotten last draw on tribal land. Pretty flat & dusty up there except by the rivers

My wife and I sometimes get each other beer as a gift for occasions. I picked this up earlier this week as a congratulations for a bonus she got at work. This is Springdale- Barrel Aged Double Brig (a Double Barrel Aged mocha stout in maple barrels and bourbon barrels)

Finally got off the roof from doing Christmas decorations so I can now do some beers since from here on out it is a lot shorter fall if I go down. My all time favorite hazy. The only beer I have ranked all 5s, but brewed for only 2 months and this was my last can. [The as-poured head was a lot nicer before I started screwing around looking for an appropriate photo background] The angels singing in the background seem appropriate for this wonderful beer.[IMG]

Starting to get away from the hazies, but decided to pick up my favorite beer from my favorite brewery. It did not disappoint. Might have to go get the other 2 4 packs that are left at the local distributor.

    2013 BCBS Coffee

The BA who sent me this is no longer with us, but thank you so much for the incredible box you sent me last year. I'm very thankful for your generosity.

Somehow, after 7 years in this little bottle, the coffee is still absolutely explosive. Some subtle stale coffee notes, but otherwise this has aged so gracefully (i assume - I've never had BCBCS before). Rich, sweet, full, dense, super roasty, and just dripping with coffee. Maybe the strongest coffee presence I've experienced in a coffee stout. Highly enjoyable. Makes me feel all warn and fuzzy.... Or maybe that's the 13.4% ABV...

    Cheers!

This ‘herbal dark ale’ from Labietis out of Latvia. Basically a stout with yarrow root loaded with Citra hops. It’s an experience, that’s for sure.

Passed on a few bottles of regular BCBS yesterday just because. I’ll probably pick up a bottle or two if they’re still there in the next week. Didn’t see any variants, which is what I usually look for because I’ve had plenty of the reg both on bottle and on tap.

    Saturday cheers, all
