Finer Days by Finback. Dank melon and citrus. Cheers!
The harbinger. Blueberry and Chai. Pretty amazing and refreshing.
Dinner is over and kitchen is clean...night cap and second pour pic - BCB Cafe de Olla Stout (2019):
Really surprised how much orange I’m picking up...I drank/traded these beers last year, but I’m finding a whole new appreciation for this beer tonight. Amazing!
Good god, this concoction hits all the right spots (as someone who loves Skittles especially)...Imprint's Fluffy Double Reinbro w/ Pineapple and Passionfruit...killer stuff, and a huge thanks to @jts211 for so generously working to send it my way. Cheers!
Live Oak Black Is Beautiful Schwarzbier
Smuttynose Chocolate Stout - Wood Chop ..
An off the cuff blues tune for Saturday night, showing my Howard Roberts Fusion III some love ..
My annual reminder that you have my favorite avatar on here. Cheers.
Well, all I did was drink some beer...
There's been several local breweries in my neck of the woods that have been brewing beers under the Ales For ALS banner the last few years. Hell, Iron Goat did two this year, an IPA (as they've done for several years) and an IPL ( which made the whole Ales For ALS moniker a bit awkward, stylistically). ALS and MS each scare the bejesus out of me. Local athlete Steve Gleason has been a big story here with his fight against ALS, and, here in Spokane, we're the #1 city in the US to be diagnosed with MS in (#2 world-wide), so both are fairly strong in the public consciousness, locally.
Stay strong, man.
Prickly pear honey badgerita with lime and blood orange. Loved it. Medium sweet and refreshing.
Põhjala - Cowboy Breakfast
Imperial Stout with black currants, coffee and chilis aged in Bourbon barrels from Estonia (12.5%).
I am drinking special brownies chocolate stout from Sycamore out of NC.
Enjoying some Barrel Aged goodness (it's been a long time since having anything from Moylan's, really dig their beers) ...
... while watching a 1951 Classic:
Thank you. I bring my anniversary to the attention of the greater BA community every year only so I can to elicit your compliment. Talk to you again in 364ish days.
PS - I'm not sure I used elicit properly but it sounds like it should work.
Had some smoked beef ribs for dinner ( from last Sunday ), the wife air fried them and they turned out pretty good. Time for more beer since this LSU/A&M game is starting look boring. Founders Moon Rambler IPA
Had it for dinner I was pretty happy with it. Think I liked it better than Thanksgiving dinner...haha
Hate to ask but hows Mom?
Thats an awesome pizza .
Your anniversary on this site is my anniversary as a human (yep, I'm a year older today). Catch you next birthday.
FFF Alpha Klaus...
I am drinking Saucy's Juicy ASAP.
Saved the other half of that BC Mon Cheri. I rarely drink the whole thing myself. Honestly the 12 oz format was perfect.. of course now Im back to IPAs and its freakin Saturday and Im upright. My phone died so I had to get the S20. Camera is pretty dope. Cheers.
How is that Moon Rambler? Never had one.
Today's inquiry to my Ohio siblings stated she's in the beginning of a hospice situation (courtesy of Medicare)...eating jello and ice shavings, narcotic medications being processed...could be a few days, perhaps a couple of weeks...her attitude has change "180°s" since Thursday, but, to me, it still sounds like she wants to end things..
...this is a trip...
Has a sweet edge to it, grassy & a little citrus on the backside. $ 9.00 a sixer, no regrets. Was kind of hoping for more creamsicle on this, but the other 5 won't won't hang out in my fridge very long to be sure
I have been looking forward to this moment all day! @mschrei, are you going to get to your BCBS soon?
I just went down the exact same road. Ive actually been down that road a few times. Mom died at 69 from Dementia. I think at some point people make a decision subconsciously- and they may not want to share it so they dont hurt anybody- and I am ok with that.
Please forgive my messy plating. I was hungry. It smelled too good. And the family was tired of waiting.
My dad never stated the urge to end it, but once we had his driver's license pulled. we knew his desire to hang around wouldn't be too strong. I hope I am able to make peace like that
You have much better rice ratio. I always forget to tell them to put it on the side in eating joints as it seems like they trying hide how much gumbo you actually get. looks tasty
Recycled picture because the counter is taken. Hard to believe I paid more for a single bottle of #4 yesterday than I paid for this 4 pack. My fault since I didn’t ask. Won't happen again. Love this one. Cheers all!
Drooooooollll - gumbo!!!!
You bastid - you're making me really hungry, I love gumbo and that looks great!
I'm sipping on Caramella as we watch an old film with Humphrey Bogart and some very young Bowery Boys. It tastes like an apple cobbler but it's a bit sweet for my taste.
I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! Drinking a 2017 Northwoods...
Poured a jet black, Blueberry and almond aromas, chocolate smell at the back end, taste is sweet, but smooth, chocolatey, it's definitely drinkable and wish I had another bottle.
Guayabera closer, I drank too much last night, nuff said. Cheers mates!
