Found at 7th Av Grocer Park Slope and WFM. First review of brewer.
    a) Clear apricot body sports perfect bright lasting, lacing white head.
    s) Love the pine tempering the mango, pineapple.
    t) Yeilds abundant fresh, and JUICY citrus, orange and pineapple, and mango. Tempered again by pine and hop bitterness. Well balanced
    f) Juicy, crisp, clean. Well made mouth feel.

11th Review, my 2nd for this Brewer who is 2 for 2. Go Jersey craft.
    a) apricot hazed body sports energetic head that rings and laces.
    s) Very acidic citrus, orange, pineapple, mango, some melon, some malt.
    t) Follow smell, but offers more rounded juicy, rindy fruit, more melon, more subtlety.
    f) Leans toward fruit juice, low carbination. Very juicy.
    NEIPA would be about right.

After 25 beers from this fave Jersey Shore brewer (along with Cartons & Kane), this anniversary NEIPA disappoints.
    a) Too dull and murky body, scant head, no lace. Dull.
    s) Also musty and dull in nature, wheat flakes, oatmeal, and some dank hops.
    t) Dull flavor with a tingly but odd and dank, frat-floor rancor and then a hop bite.
    f) too thin.
    o) Back to the tank. Yes unique but in a dirty kind of way

Logsdon Farmhouse Ales -- Before The Dawn (barrel-aged imperial stout)

    4.21/5 rDev 0%
    look: 4 | smell: 4.25 | taste: 4.25 | feel: 4 | overall: 4.25

Ink black body; thick, fairly creamy light khaki head. Semi-sweet aroma infused with roasted grains, coffee grounds, and caramel nougat. Rich, darkly sweet flavors cut with a restrained bit of bourbon taste; milk chocolate and cocoa. Heavy body; smooth and slippery; marked alcohol heat and dryness counterpointing the residual sugar presence; a touch of wooden dryness.

This is a straight-forward barrel-aged imperial stout with no apparent adjuncts such as coffee (which I still think part of the smell comes across with), maple syrup, and other gimmicky things. The Heaven Hill and Buffalo Trace is certainly present in the taste, but seems to work with the beer's inherent ABV and makes itself felt more in the mouthfeel. A simple yet intriguing imperial stout.

Too 5 of the year was apparently
    Power Trip- suffer no fool
    Cryptopsy- Phobophile
    Incendiary- front towards enemy
    Knocked Loose- counting worms
    Outburst- the hard way

love me some old school New York hardcore.

but the top bands in general were power trip (even before Riley died) , madball, deicide, pilgrim and toxic holocaust.

    Love the Spotify statistics. .

Next up is Braaaaaaaains. This version with raspberry, strawberry & lime.

If I were a braver man, I'd add some triple-sec and tequila. Flavor profile is already right there at a strawberry margarita.

Good Saturday, everyone. It's a mild but murky, foggy afternoon. I spent a few hours in the office then did some beer shopping. Mrs. Mac and I spoke with our son and his girlfriend. She just received her Masters in Nursing; in fact her virtual graduation was earlier today. We're proud of her. I'm relaxing for the rest of the day with some good beer lined up. First is Ramstein's Winter Wheat Doppelbock. I believe this is the first canning (it used to be bottled). A wonderful example of the style: dry and malty with a nice amount of smoke. Cheers!

Surly x New Belgium -- Culture Collab (blended culture American sour ale)

A slightly reddish tinge to an otherwise amber body; excellent carbonation; an actual, lasting and decent sized head on a wild ale, mildly creamy; rings of foam along with small, patchy bits of foam decorate the glass. Soft and pleasing sour aroma suggesting cherries and raspberries; light, dry white wine; a light earthiness; raw white oak. Beautifully balanced sour and light malt flavors; fermented cherries; a touch of soft biscuit flavor. Medium body; tart and acidic; crisp and biting; snappy.

Well now. Here is an incredible wild ale collaboration. The balance and nuance found across the sensory board is quite amazing. Personally, I find the soft, persistent white head amazing for a wild ale. Nicely done and well worth checking out.

Seriously impressed by this band, with a great name, that translates to A machinery of death, from the album Det Svenska Hatet, which means The Swedish Hate. Love it.

Back when I was a young man, in the late 80s, my Dad had a Christmas Tree farm, and of course, he sold seasoned split red and white oak firewood (very little pine, as who wants that..) ... we would deliver a cord, and we would stack it at your house!, for $35...now this was in West Virginia, and a lifetime ago, but I have many (in retrospect) fond memories of working the chainsaw, and later the hydraulic splitter on the mountain in the snow to ultimately deliver the goods... Cheers!
