I have a fridge full of Trillium and a bunch of bottles that I need to start clearing out sooner or later. Cheers to excess beer!

That is good to hear! I like this one too. I came across some negative reviews that made me even doubt about my own taste  They also produce a nice porter.
    Cheers!

I brought home a four-pack of BA Ten Fidy on Sunday. These are the last two cans.

Equilibrium fractal enigma/citra at my folks’ adirondacks place out of a leffe glass (which is one of the only beer glasses they have for some reason). 71 year old parents returned to their full time home and left the place to my wife and son and I for a New Years getaway. Sucks not being able to see them or other relatives this holiday season.

also sucks that my almost 3 year old son has decided that 530am is wake up time these days. Beer and Advil will help.

    Hello everyone, Advocates!
    I'm having a good one
Birrificio Pontino (ITA)- BRAIN DEMAGE, TUTTI FRUTTI version (ALL FRUIT version) - Tropical Ipa (7%).

    With pulp of
    Pineapple
    Maracuja
    Goiaba
    Mango

Medium but evanescent foam: it disappears and dulls a veil on the surface.
All tropical fruit on the nose, especially pineapple and mango.
Medium / light body in the mouth.
    Fairly flat, barely perceptible carbonation.
Triumph of tropical fruit that remains on the palate, pinching even a little.
On the tongue, as soon as the beer gets a little closer to room temperature, cereal hints (oats) are clearly perceptible.
Final that tries to be dry, in fact the beer is not lappante or a "fruit juice", the palate is however pervaded by the tropical scents of the fruit pulp.
Beer not of perfect balance but of good structure even if a little too flat in carbonation, however it is pleasant to drink in different occasions / contexts / seasons.

I'm not a wit beer guy, but how can 2468 "advocates" score this a collective 3.45? It is a very good example.

I also have a cranberry spiced witbier to review. That should be interesting. Also a gift...

    Cheers all!

Advocates, I'm about to attempt an IPA here shortly. Although I don't really want to comment on the reasons surrounding my brief hiatus, I want to say thank you to those who checked in on me during my absence. You are appreciated. I love you.

Holidazical, an IPA that tastes west coast but looks slightly east coast, made by Cloudburst. It's super busy. It's nice.

Russian River -- Beatification (wild ale)

    4.33/5 rDev -5.7%
    look: 4.5 | smell: 4.5 | taste: 4.25 | feel: 4.25 | overall: 4.25

Bottled 081419 per the bottle label.

Clear, golden body; lively, small bubble carbonation; thick, sudsy head, dense and sculpted. Big wine, fruity and herbal smell; white wine; ripe apricots; green apples. The taste expands the aroma profile; tart and acidic; lime with a touch of lemon; semi-sweet Riesling wine quality; white oak. Medium body; mild sweetness complementing the acidic dryness.

This is a fine, complex yet easy drinking wild ale.
