Still need to go to Sav A Lot. Getting really hungry now, reckon I should do that soon. I have a second sinus infection in one month, my gf had something to pass on I suppose.

    Great NEIPA

I want to learn the arpeggio solo from this song.

Another Gaffel Kolsch after eating my body weight in 3 tuna sandwiches, 2 bowls of cereal, a can of peas, 4 pieroges, 5 chocolate chip cookies but who’s counting. A half a bar of dark chocolate, a handful of nilla wafers and a one pound bag of sourdough pretzels.

days off consist of these terrible habits. Drinking makes me hungry you could say.

might have one more beer after this. I need a walk. At least the proper glassware albeit it’s a Jack Daniels branded stange, it makes me happy

Good afternoon, advocates. Zeelander from Toppling Goliath. I don't have any confidence that this will be as good as the bottled version, but we shall see. It does have that signature white wine on the nose that I love so much about Nelson Sauvin. Let's see what else she's got to offer. Cheers!

Sierra Nevada Big Little Thing impy IPA... now I need to try Fantastic Haze if I can find it fresh (fresher than what I've seen)

Oh man, shit has been so crazy I haven't even wanted a beer, but alas, now I am thirsty for one. Drinking a Trillium Mettle Alloy DIPA right now, pretty nice. Cheers!

Nugget Nectar at last, brothers & sisters. That was sort of tongue in cheek, if you will. I have seen a lot of chatter about this in the forums. Here's looking at you, @JackHorzempa. Like a fool, I buy this every year thinking it will be reminiscent of the OG, pre-Hershey version. The former had aromas that literally jumped out of the glass and demanded you consume more than your fair share. This batch, freshest by 21 Apr 21, isn't altogether bad, but I know what this beer is supposed to taste like. Yes, I'm getting mango aromas in the nose, albeit muted. Pine and resin? Yeah, these aren't the droids you're looking for. I suppose they'd tell me I've reached my lupulin threshold (ya think?), and that the beer is the same that it's always been. I remember this beer being hop saturated in ways that standard IPAs weren't. I remember thinking wow, this is f*cking amazing for a beer that isn't classified as my favorite style. It's not a bad beer by any stretch, but it's not on steroids like it once was. For the love of God, Tröegs, look the other way like Bud Selig. RIP to what was once a world-class beer in every way imaginable. I love you.

And perhaps a situation of ‘adding insult to injury’ this year Troegs is ‘doubling down’ (you may already be aware):

Perhaps this beer will have hop aroma? Or will it be the case of 2 x 0 = 0?

    Cheers!

Good afternoon, all! I'm drinking Sunshine City, from Green Bench Brewing, St. Pete. This is from the beer gift basket my nephew sent me for Christmas. Canned 11/20/20, and it is outstanding. It also seemed appropriate today, as this is not one of our typical dreary winter days here in the Cedar Valley. Better enjoy it while I can. Cheers!

Advocates, I would not being doing my due diligence if I didn't drink another Nugget Nectar to make sure my first impression was accurate. Haha! Peace...

I am tempted to try it, but am I willing to visit the source just to be disappointed? We shall see. Cheers, brother.

Finally back on a running schedule, and I am not enjoying it. 3 mile run this afternoon, with the well-deserved reward in my glass:

I'm at home drinking a Edmunds Oast Brewing Company, Cereal For Dinner.
It's a blonde ale, vanilla, lactose and coconut.
Different for sure, but pretty damn delicious!
    Cheers!

Howdy all. As I mentioned last night, I took today off for an appointment. Got home, fixed a leak under my sink, cleaned out my car a bit, and attempted a new recipe: Chicken Cordon Bleu Lasagna! I'm trying to do a lot more cooking and experimenting with recipes this year, striving for trying at least one new recipe that interests me per week and then trying to figure out how they can be improved/how I could do better. Here it is before going into the oven...

And now I'm having a few DIPAs (w/ reviews) to enjoy my night... cheers.
