    No music tonight. Instead watching Empire Strikes Back for the millionth time, lol! Never gets old, IMO. Quenching my thirst with a bottle of Vanilla Bean Imperial stout from Coles Brewing courtesy of the super generous @jrc1093

    Was expecting a pastry stout with a heavy viscosity but this fella is not that. On the thinner side but not a bad thing. Not much vanilla coming through cold but as it warmed it became obvious with a dry nutty finish. Overall a good beer and now this brewery is on my radar!

    One of Seattles best burger joints has a new food truck, and it's hitting the City of Subdued Excitement tomorrow! 4 cheeseburgers (OK, maybe 5, since the truck has no fryer, so no fries) and a chocolate shake.

    Who was smoking dope and thought a mashup of Bewitched and The Dick Van **** Show would be what we needed? Really struggling to get through episode 2.

    Windmill Mile High Squares Imperial Stout w/ marshmallow, chocolate, peanut butter, and lactose. I believe this can is from summer 2020. They mostly brew hazy IPA’s, fruited sours, and lager, but once in a while they will pull out a pastry stout and they are damn good at them.
    This may be my favorite beer by them in general. I’ve had actual Mile High Squares and this mimics it quite well. All the marshmallow, peanut butter, and milk chocolate, along with dark chocolate and graham cracker. They better brew this again soon.
