    Hello everyone, Advocates!
Unfortunately, even if I drank good things, these days I was in a rather hurry (between work, family and tiredness ..) and I didn't intervene much.
Even now I have to get back to work pretty quickly.
But I'm waiting for a huge load of US bombs ordered for my home cellar.
When it is delivered, see you on "My last beer haul".
Meanwhile, now I say two things about this beautiful Imperial Porter:

Pohjala (Tallin, EST) - JÕULUÖÖ - Imperial Porter Oak Aged (8%)

    33 cl. Bottle
Expiration not detected on the label (I looked good and there is not).
French barrel aged Imperial Porter (or, perhaps ... with Freanch oak "chips" ... anyway, the "wood" scent is felt) with cocoa beans and fresh vanilla pods.
Slightly liqueur on the nose, then the roasted coffee reminiscent.
With a very vertical pour, an unexpected foam is released: soft and abundant, but also quite short. It disappears completely with no trace of it left.
    Black. Impenetrable.
In the mouth it is literally silky, as indicated in the can. Sure oats help, but the drink is perfect.
    Robust body, but suitable.
Beer with intense toasted scents (coffee, cocoa nibs).
    Almond.
    Wood.
    Dark chocolate.
    Roasted coffee beans.
    Vanilla (light and very elegant).
Woody reflections with a slight nuance that reminds me of pipe tobacco, but it is always a "dry" reflex, not well determined.
While a pleasant hint of toasted remains on the palate, on the tongue, after the dry finish, there is a very delicate, as well as pleasant flavor of vanilla.
Round, full and balanced: really valuable, for my personal taste.
