Distinctive?

When too old or an odd batch, too easily syrupy.

When a fresh good batch? Crisp. Halfway (?) between West Coast and early NEIPA. A lot of mosaic. I think of this of being in the generation of Heady, Sip, Second Fiddle, some of the Beer’d DIPA.

Good Tuesday Evening BA! Just got home after working a 10 hour shift. I had 2 Head Hunters with my lunch this morning. I had 45 minutes to kill downtown waiting for my bus, so I went to City Works and got a Stella, moved on to a Cigar City Maduro (very good) and then finished with a Victory Golden Monkey:



Also, very good, one of my favorites from Victory. The covid restrictions have been mostly ended as of Easter, so I was able to sit at the bar. Not that it was an issue at my local lunch bar, but now its official!

Son-in-law #1 and I have both been hooked on this lager lately. Got a six pack today. Going to get another six pack tomorrow. Will share them with son-in-law.

 

Found one of these hanging out in the fridge in the garage. I could no longer tolerate such isolation.
