Greg Maddox was the best pitcher I ever saw. Guy was mesmerizing.

 

First beer in about two weeks due to Covid. Glad thats behind me but this beer is only hitting on a few cylinders due to taste issues. Still doing its thing. Stay safe

 

Popped in to Twin Sisters for ticking purposes. Having their Dry Stout, nice and smooth, more roast than typical.

He’s a good call. Pedro Martinez had a seven year stretch that was just unbelievable. Steve Carlton had incredible stuff. When Nolan Ryan had control of his curve, the hitters just didn’t have a chance. At his best it was a man pitching to little leaguers. He had the greatest arm God ever put on a man. Cheers.

 

All very true. It's been fun to watch all these guys, even when they were you opponent!

I'm at my local Harris Teeter Grocery Store which happens to have a beer pub inside eating a slice of pizza and having a local breweries beer, Deep River Cottenwood Lager, ABV 4.5.
Soon I'll return to the drudgery of grocery shopping, at least I've been fortified by a delicious beer!

Another beer this beautiful Friday afternoon - Equilibrium’s “Fluctuation”, a DIPA:



Canned 2/21/21. I’ve liked most beers I’ve had from this brewery. Not bad, but a little whimpy. Hazy deep gold with chunks of floaties is a personal turn-off. Courtesy of my my latest Tavour box...with the 14 days (or longer!) the beer is in transit, a purchase made last month ends up being a 2 month old beer by the time I get it...I’m done with Tavour, for the time being, and will think twice about buying IPA from it in the future. Cheers y’all!

 

Watching the Masters. Course is playing much softer than yesterday. Beer three you’ve seen over the last few days. An India Red Ale from Lervig. Very good.
